The Roloffs live on a farm near Portland, Oregon where Tori shares the home with her husband Zach and their three children, Jackson Kyle, five, Lilah Ray, three, and Josiah Luke, nine months. The family appears on the American reality show ‘Little People, Big World’ airing on TLC.
Jackson’s surgery
Jackson underwent leg straightening surgery in December 2021, when Tori said through her Instagram, “This kid time and time again blows us away,” before adding, “He was so brave and confident. He made Zach and I so proud as he talked with the doctors and nurses and was wheeled away without worry,” reports US Weekly.
One month after his surgery, when fans were concerned about him, Tori took to her Instagram to inform her followers, “So Jackson DID have leg surgery,” before adding, “However, it was to correct bowing over time. He had plates put on his growth plates. Nothing changed immediately. As his legs grow, they will hopefully straighten, and we will avoid a more invasive surgery.” She further added, “He has been overcompensating while walking to avoid his shoes touching his “boo-boos” which is why they look more bowed."
“However they aren’t changed and he’s not in any pain,” she declared before adding, “We’re hoping over the next five to six years, the pigeon toe and the bowing will be gone. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern for baby J."

In June 2022, Tori shared in an exclusive clip shared by Entertainment Tonight, “There is legitimately something wrong,” before adding, “He isn’t progressing like they said that he would.”
In November 2022, Zach took to his Instagram to share how Jackson was recovering from the operation. “It’s tough because the screws in his legs help straighten the leg as he grows,” when a fan asked him about Jackson’s health, “For him he maybe grows a inch a year, so it’s tough to see and won’t be obvious for a while,” reports US Weekly.
In September 2022, Tori shared about Jackson, "So many firsts for this kid lately!! He turned 5 and we hit the ground running!! Today was Jackson’s first outdoor soccer game! It was so much fun watching him play! It was “a lot” to “a little” but like we always say: “do your best, forget the rest!”"
'Poor little man's legs'
A keen-eyed fan said, "Whoa sorry but poor J really looks like the procedure is not working on him!!" while another fan mused, "With all do respect.., with zero experience with limited experience with a child with orthopedic issues..non dwarfism to be clear... is there a quicker firmer approach to Jackson’s legs? They appear to need extensive help." "Poor Jackson! His legs look worse now than before they operated on them. Can't they be fixed?," observed another. One user asked, "Im just curious. Are they going to fix the older ones legs?" Another commented, "Ohh Jackson legs." "Poor little man's legs... I hope he isn't in pain..," said another.
While some fans even wondered whether Tori is pregnant. "Tori, are you expecting again ?" asked one. Another commented, "Is Tori pregnant?????"
One fan even remarked, "Happy Easter! (And my apologies for some of the rude comments here… I don’t know how you do it, I would go into mama bear mode!)"
