Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff's relationship has been filled with ups and downs and to make things worse, their divorce has driven them apart even further.

In the latest episode (April 14), Amy found out that Matt was creating a fence to make sure their property is divided. After their divorce, Matt had bought half of the farm but the other half still belonged to them.

He wanted to make sure that he has the privacy that he needs and to ensure that it is at the maximum level, he decided to build a fence around it. However, Matt did not want to call it the fence. He stated that he would be calling it the 'wall' as it showed a 'symbolic division' of how things have changed on the farm.

Matt confessed that the wall would allow both of them to maintain distance from each other. "You can keep me away as much as I can keep you away", he said. Amy was surprised to see the extent Matt was going to make it clear that things have changed on the farm. Amy agreed that nothing was the same.

She further added that the wall also showed the divorce and how the two have separated. Even though Amy was not happy with how things were turning out to be, she hinted that she was refraining herself from saying much because she found it hard to negotiate with Matt. Meanwhile, Matt thought that Amy was being unreasonable.

The two have had their problems for a long time. Previously, Amy did not appreciate it when Matt walked into her house to inspect. She thought that it wasn't nice of him to take ownership of a place when he was not staying there.

Fans also thought that Matt's actions were not justified. Many questioned his decision of building a 'wall' while hinting that Amy and his relationship could have been better. "Matt is making it very hard to keep liking him. The "wall" is an a-hole move," read one comment.

Another added, "Matt sounds just like his president when he says “the wall”.

While Matt seems happy with his decision, it looks like fans have started liking him less because of his actions.

'Little People, Big World' airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
