Lingerie model Tahnee Atkinson says she her DD breasts are 'too big' and make it harder for her to get work
A busty model from Australia said she has lost out on a lot of work because of her DD boobs which are 'too big'.
28-year-old model Tahnee Atkinson's career took off when she won Australia's Next Top Model in 2009. However, she says her assets have not been looked at very positively and, at times, have prevented her from getting work.
Atkinson shared that even though she has lost jobs due to the size of her breasts, a few companies have booked her for her celebrated curvy and stunning physique.
"There's obviously that side of the industry where you have to be a size zero and have a tiny cup size, so I've probably lost a bit of work due to the size of my boobs but I've also gained a lot of work because of the size of my boobs," she said, reported Perth Now.
Atkinson recently celebrated 10 years of collaborating with the Australian lingerie label Bras N Things.
Along with model Tia Provost, Atkinson is officially the face of the label's new campaign called Full Cup and Fabulous. The new range has been designed keeping in mind women with bigger breasts. The collection features bra sizes until size 'G'.
Atkinson shared that finding her place in the industry has been a lot easier in the last few years given the shift in the industry to be more inclusive and accept all sizes and shapes of bodies.
She also shared that working in Australia has also helped as there seem to be more jobs for women with fuller sizes and figures. "I think there's definitely a shift which is a great thing, as long as you're fit and healthy and have that glow, then that's what's going to make you succeed, not necessarily being a size zero anymore," Atkinson shared.
Atkinson had previously shared that she had developed bigger breasts quite late and did not want to acknowledge the situation for some time. As reported by news.com.au, she shared, "I used to wear smaller bras because I refused to believe I was a DD, and now I've learned it's all about having the right fit."
