Spoilers ahead for season 1 episode 10 'Answers' of 'Limetown'

There we have it - all the answers to what happened in Limetown, what happened after The Panic and what led to the disappearance of 326 people from the research community.

Despite warnings from her uncle Emile (Stanley Tucci), Lia (Jessica Biel) goes to meet with Lenore Dougal (Janet Kidder). In the previous episode 'Apples and Oranges', Lenore had approached Lia with information about what happened in Limetown after The Panic. At that time, she had asked her if finding the answer to the questions in the most important thing for her.

She asks Lia the same thing before she gives her any answers. Although Emile had warned her that Lenore is capable of anything, Lia goes to seek her answers. "I know I asked this before but is knowing all the answers the most important thing? Really consider that, it doesn't have to be," Lenore tells her. "It's the only reason I'm here," Lia tells her.

And Lenora tells her everything - how she was a mole planted inside Limetown from very early on. Even though it was RB Villard's (Hiro Kanagawa) firm who hired her, they didn't know she was a mole. She worked as a city manager but handled logistics most importantly. "I worked with an outside organization to feed them information about what was happening in LimeTown and to convince Oscar Totem that who I worked for would make a better suitor for the product and the asset, your uncle," she tells Lia.

When The Panic broke out, it was her job to systematically clear out the places of all the liabilities, that is the people without the tech, and to relocate those with the tech and give them hush money. Apparently, the original plan called for a 100 percent extinction of the entire town, but since half the town was given the implant, it suddenly carried more value.

The idea was to keep those with the tech alive for long-term research and to completely eliminate those without the tech.

One of the most important things in and out of Limetown was Emile - his powers were an asset to the research of the tech and in the future, it would be more resourceful.

The season finale of 'Limetown' was terrifying - it shows the true scale of human ambition. It was a town that was doomed to be - Lenora and the organization she worked for were planning on the extraction from day 1 of Limetown and by the time the end came, everything was planned.

The finale might as well be a precursor to an apocalyptic world - the beginning of the downfall of the world and humanity. Limetown is a petrifying thought, especially to know that you signed up for doom, and how! But most of all, it shows how Lia's quest didn't bring to her anything that she didn't know coming. At the end of the finale episode, Lia was taken by masked men. We obviously don't know where but Emile was pleading on the phone with someone named Danny to let Lia go.

A civilization that was meant to be doomed is Limetown.
