A different set of views said that Nas may not have much participation in making the music video. A user wrote, "On the subject of lil nas and fka twigs, I would like to say that I doubt lil nas had much to do with creating his music video. He had a whole team behind him and they probably thought of the idea. Please stop putting blame on him just because he's in the video. Or whatever idk." Another fan said, "some ppl mad that the pole dancing part borrowed heavily from FKA twigs (which i definitely agree w btw) but also it’s literally like 15 seconds of the mv so who cares!"
