Using a patent-pending ionic charging technology, the device was said to have a way of conducting your body’s own energy through the spoon and into the food on it. As per Gizmodo, the microcurrent is enough to stimulate your taste-buds into making the food feel more flavorful. Is LIFTiD effective?

Ted Schwartz, MD, a New York-based neurosurgeon and RPW's lead scientist, explains, "As has been shown in several studies, tDCS delivers a small amount of electrical current to the cerebral cortex, rendering neurons in the brain more likely to fire. As a result, the user demonstrates increased abilities, alertness and focus."

The Gadget Flow Best Product 2019 Winner, LIFTiD has several reviews on its website. One user said, "Our team took turns wearing the device during particularly challenging writing and editing tasks and not surprisingly 4 out of 5 team members claim to have increased focus when wearing the device... team members also reported feeling increased concentration on immediate tasks at hand and felt they had the ability to generate ideas more swiftly while feeling generally more alert at work."

Another wrote, "I’ve also noticed that it’s easier to stay focused after I’ve used the brain stimulation device, so the effects definitely last for me. I’ve been able to get into work mode more quickly, and haven’t been drinking a second cup of coffee. I was also surprised by how fast I feel like I noticed a difference with the device."
