'Supernanny' is back from a mid-season break on Lifetime on Tuesday, September 1. The series returned with two back-to-back episodes, in which Jo Frost visits the Brown and Esquivel families to help them tackle their parents-kids situation better.

The Browns were unable to come to terms with the demons in their relationship which led to a strained relationship with the kids. Not that they behaved inappropriately with the kids or showed little to no affection, there was a lack of discipline. Angela was overworked and would allow both kids onto their bed while Michael wanted time alone with his wife.

Nanny Jo pointed out that for them to achieve that balance where they are the perfect parents to their kids, they must first hash out the differences of their own. She prodded and probed until Angela shared she has trust issues and that it has been difficult for her to believe in Michael ever since he cheated on her with two of her exes. He sexted them until one day he realized he loved his wife and children and wouldn't jeopardize that for anything.

Jo pushed them to talk it out and come to a point where they are able to show love and care to each other as well as clear up channels of communication. She believed once the parents were on the right path, they can work together to fix their equation with their kids. Meanwhile, Fans were seen asking if Nanny Jo is supposed to be a nanny or a couple's therapist?

"Is this show #Supernanny or Super Couples Therapist? We're supposed to talk about being better parents to the kids, these 2 fools should have worked out their marriage and infidelity issues before Nanny Jo showed up," a viewer commented while another shared: "#Supernanny I like how explicit this episode is about how the problem is not the kids being 'bad', it's the way adults aren't doing what's needed for the kids to be functional humans. But it's completely unfair Jo comes as a nanny and has to be a marriage counselor."

"She knows they’re withholding information from her as far as the REAL state of their marriage!!! #Supernanny," a user pointed out. 'Right away it’s clear this couple has issues. The wife hasn’t had one positive thing to say about her hubby since the show started. 'It wasn’t love at first sight. He had to grow on me.' 'I'm the disciplinarian. I do everything...' @Jo_Frost.@lifetimetv #Supernanny," another shared.
