'Married at First Sight': Did Amelia have a specific reason to be on the show? What she said could hurt Bennett
Amelia and Bennett are possibly the only couples who have hardly had any bitter arguments over trivial matters. From the start of this social experiment for reality TV, they were able to dedicatedly solve every issue that was thrown at them without much whining. Be it household chores, job-life balance or future planning – the couple tackled all with effortless ease. But that is not to say they have not had issues.
In the past, the couple has had unending discussions over "if Amelia moves", will Bennett tag along too? Bennett has built his life in New Orleans and for him to leave a city he has known so closely will mean a lot. Amelia has applied for residency and is moving to Richmond. She had alerted Bennett about this, he seemed okay with it when he first heard and eventually agreed to move to a different city so that they could be together.
But all that love and affection could be gone easily unless they continue to choose the path of least resistance. In the preview to this week's episode of 'Married at First Sight' Season 11, we see Amelia admitting that she didn't think she would get married, and only thought that "it would be fun to be on a reality show." The context of this statement is unknown but has the potential to hurt Bennett.
Will this affect their fate on Decision Day? Fans think not. "The #MarriedAtFirstSight crew really dropped the ball with these couples this season. Only Amelia/Bennett and Amani/Woody are going to last. I feel really bad for Olivia, Cristina, and Miles. They got stuck with the worst possible partners. #MAFS," a viewer commented on Twitter, while another shared: "@MAFSLifetime The best-matched couples this season are Bennett & Amelia, & Woody & Amani. Overall this season is better than last because nobody is a lost cause. #marriedatfirstsight." "Amelia & Bennett cannot be more perfect for each other. Whatever algorithms the experts used for them, USE IT AGAIN for A L L your future matches. #MAFSnola #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight #MarriedAtFirstSightNOLA," a user tweeted.
