On Friday, July 8, LMN aired the first episode of Season 2 of 'Keeping Up With the Joneses'. Vivica A Fox plays the matriarch of an affluent family who, together with her four stepdaughters, is doing everything she can to maintain the family company. In the second episode of the series, she is confronted with difficulties she can only fathom. In the midst of attempting to keep their new water project running and securing the fortune, she is due to receive from her "dead" husband, she encounters a threat in the person of Cam Forest (Clark Moore). As we watch Webb make a return near the end of 'The Wrong Nemesis', he makes certain to reclaim all he believes is rightfully his. Cam Forest is sent to blackmail Webb's still legally married wife, Robin, on the false pretense of possessing proof of her involvement in his absence.

Pam contacts Stephen Napoli (Chris Cleveland) in the hopes of obtaining information about Cam Forest and determining how credible his threat is in order to assist her adored stepmother. Stephen, who appears to be smitten by Pam throughout the series, seeks his Mother Earth mole for the job, only to discover that Cam is unlikely to have any proof. On the business front, things do not appear to be going as smoothly as the family would want, as they continue to get threats from Leo (Eric Roberts) vowing to sabotage their water project. Meanwhile, Kayla (Shellie Sterling) is unable to focus on her relationship with Carter (Sam Schweikert), whom she met at a bar in the last movie since she believes she is being stalked by her abusive ex-fiance, William (Marcos James).

Pam is at a loss for words as she deals with the unexpected presence of her long-lost daughter Eve. Eve's arrival is also generating a stir in the Jones household. The other family members believe Eve's appearance is a ruse. They are warning Pam to double-check that she is not an impostor. As a result, they seek legal counsel from the family's lawyer, Sheldon (Michael Paré). To ensure that they are not being duped, they decide to have a DNA procedure done. After a little deception, they discovered that Eve is indeed Pam's daughter. Pam decides to introduce Eve to the rest of the family to make up for the years of separation. Eve, who was clever and perceptive, was eager to identify herself as "Eve Jones" as soon as she stepped inside the house. Despite Pam's excitement for the mini-family reunion, Eve is inundated with questions about her plans with the family. They all doubt her intention to return and see Pam because they all believe there is a broader picture that Pam is overlooking. Tara (Jasmine Aivaliotis) takes matters into her own hands as a result of Eve's continual refusal to have an ulterior motive.

Tara gets assistance from her college professor, seeking to learn everything she can about Eve. Her plan was going smoothly until Richard, Eve's college professor, irked her with his pushy inquiries. Richard's pressing question and his interest in Eve piqued Eve's attention, and she tases him to find out the truth. Richard ultimately caves and tells her he was sent by Tara. When he tries to grab her by the neck, he ends up losing his life after being tased for a long time. She is ultimately interrogated by the detectives, during which she learns of Richard's tragic death. She also becomes one of the suspects in the case.

Meanwhile, a key investor withdraws from the family's water project after receiving an unsettling letter from an unknown source. By the end of the movie, Stephen had also dropped out of the project, amidst Webb's return. Even though he vows to always be there for Pam, even if it's outside of the business, she walks away.

Finally, the elephant in the room is Webb's reappearance. When he saw his plan to blackmail Robin through Cam was failing, he got Cam out of the picture. He decides to come out of hiding in order to put Robin off her game. Robin, who has kept the truth of what occurred on the boat hidden from everyone around her, faints as she sees him on TV announcing his own resurrection. Amidst, his return, the family is pursued by the press and loses major investors. On the other hand, Webb, being Webb, does not file a legal complaint against Robin or seek assistance from any higher authority. Webb pays a visit to Robin towards the end of the film to confront what she did.

The Joneses are fashion royalty! Ms Vivica A Fox was and continues to be fantastic as Robin. She is still a stunning and fashionable DIVA! Webb certainly understands not to mess with Robin!! Eve's past is fascinating, but we're still puzzled about her actual motives! With so many bodies dropping in one chapter, the Joneses keep you guessing about what will happen next. This film is really well-crafted and forward-thinking. The dialogue is snarky and sharp, and the drama never stops coming. The following episode will be considerably more intense as 'The Wrong Murder' ends with a fiery cliffhanger.

'Keeping Up With the Joneses: The Wrong Marriage', the third installment of the four-part movie series event, premieres Friday, July 22 at 8/7c on LMN.
