'Life After Lockup': Quaylon has a major fight with family, fans are 'low key happy he's sticking up for Shavel'

Quaylon and Shavel's love survived the several years he was locked up, no reason it wouldn't now that he's off parole and living his free life. But, like every relationship, there's is going through some issues, which is making it difficult for them to be on the same page about certain things such as marriage and commitment. But, that doesn't have to mean that they don't hold each other in high. 

Quaylon was meeting his family, which started off on a good note but quickly spiraled out of control when he was asked if he would be cutting Shavel off. He said it wasn't easy to eliminate people who have been there for him when he needed the most. He stood up for Shavel, which got his sister Quanadria riled up. 

The tone of the conversation changed from friendly to hostile in seconds when Quaylon's sister accused him of not acknowledging the efforts his family put in. In his defense, he was only trying to support Shavel and helping his folks understand that it would not be easy for him to dismiss what she did for him when he was behind bars. 

Meanwhile, fans support Quaylon's temper, they seem to be happy that he at least stood up for Shavel. "Quaylon has the nerve to be mad at his family for not consistently visiting him in prison while he put his ass there," a fan commented, while another shared: "I’m actually low key happy Quaylon sticking up for Shavel. She bought you a whole car you couldn’t get a stick of gum from me #LifeAfterLockup."

"Quaylon has a point tho. Letters & visits mean more than your $50 . Fuck you bitch, shavel was there . #LifeAfterLockup," a fan commented, while another pointed out how the couple might be a "dumpster fire" but even then Quaylon was impressive how he defended Shavel: "Well!! I did NOT expect qualon to stand up for shavel like that!! Good for him....they are still a dumpster fire but I am momentarily impressed by him. #loveafterlockup #lifeafterlockup."
