Britanny and Marcelino seem to find themselves in some money problems, especially with a baby on the way and with Marcelino having lost a few thousands at his poker games. Despite knowing that they are having money crunch, Brittany brings home a puppy which is an additional expense and fans affirm she shouldn't have done that.

Last week in 'Life After Lockup' we saw Brittany make her way down to the court to gain records on her first two children she gave up for adoption. Sadly she couldn't get a lot of information because they are juveniles and their records are sealed. But she did find out that the father of the children had been contacted and requested to get custody of the kids.

Back again this week, the news of the kids' father being contacted before her doesn't let Brittany lose hope as she still tries to get in contact with her children. With all the stress of the baby coming and Brittany wanting to find her kids, she decides to buy a puppy so they can play with him and not be stressed all the time.

While her intentions were good, Marcelino gets worked up because the puppy is an extra expense they cannot afford. He has also gathered up the guts to tell Brittany that he has been losing money while playing his poker games. Though Brittany had good intentions while she brought home the puppy, fans affirm that this wasn't the right situation to bring it home, especially with a baby on the way.

Taking to Twitter a fan wrote, "Brittany, a dog is kind of something. It’s another mouth to feed of which y’all were already struggling to feed the humans ones with an addition human mouth on the way. #LoveAfterLockup #LuvAfterLockup #LifeAfterLockup. (sic)"

Adding to that another said, "Brittany was complaining about finances but goes out a get a puppy. Even if she plenty of money bringing home a dog without discussing it with your spouse is a big NO #LifeAfterLockup #loveafterlockup. (sic)"

"Brittany was complaining about finances but goes out a get a puppy. Dog are not cheap," a fan shared. While another wrote, "Brittany really got a dog knowing they don’t have a steady stream of income PLUS another baby in the way, lawyer fees, and whatever else we don’t know about #loveafterlockup #lifeafterlockup."

"Brittany, a puppy can be expensive! Shots, food, etc. You should’ve run it by your husband first. On the other hand, Marcelino should share his finances with his wife.#lifeafterlockup," a fan wrote. Another added saying, "Brittany girl, y’all got like 17 kids and no job. A puppy ain’t helping #loveafterlockup #lifeafterlockup."
