'Love & Hip Hop: New York': Yandy hopes Mendeecees won't know she lost his ring, amused fans say 'world knows'
As Mendeecees Harris's release date is getting closer, his wife Yandy Smith is getting more and more excited about him coming back home and staying with her and their children. Naturally, she starts organizing the house and putting everything together to ensure that her husband enjoys his freedom after he is out of prison.
As she is busy putting everything together, she suddenly realizes that she lost the ring he gave her while he was leaving for prison. It was meant to be something for her to remember him by. Yandy swears that she can’t recollect where she put the ring and gets anxious about upsetting him with the news of her losing his ring. She decides to buy a new ring to replace it so that he would never know that she lost his ring in the first place.
While shopping for the ring, she keeps repeating that she would never tell her husband about losing his ring. This left fans amused because she was saying it while filming for a show on national television.
Fans took to their social media to express the same. A fan tweeted, "#LHHNY Yandy What I will not tell him EVER... Is that I lost his ring... on national tv ...you told the whole world." Another fan wrote, "Yandy: I'll never tell him about losing his ring Also Yandy: *recording video for National tv*.... yess..... he’ll never know Yandy #LHHNY."
"So yandy ya don’t watch the show? You on tv telling us you can’t find the ring but saying you won’t ever tell him. #LHHNY," wondered a fan.
Another fan joked, "Wait so mendeeces won’t see the episode (eventually) and know Yandy lost his ring? Sometimes they swear we don’t know there’s a whole camera crew filming #LHHNY."
