‘Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood’: Fans say its unfair A1 slapped Misster Ray for spreading rumors while Jason Lee gets away with it
‘LHHH’ star A1 Bentley and his wife Lyrica Anderson seem to always be at the center of most of the drama on the show. On the latest episode of ‘LHHH’ we saw the couple attend a party together where their friend Misster Ray was present too. Misster Ray unfortunately resorted to spreading the rumors he heard on the streets about Lyrica and A1’s son Ocean. Ray was heard saying that Ocean might not be A1’s son.
When the rumor made its way to A1’s ears, to say he wasn’t pleased would be an understatement. A1 was furious and felt that talking about his son was out of bounds, and he confronted Ray about it by slapping him in the face. Fans weren’t happy to see A1 raise his hand on a man, who everybody knows never fights back. In the previous season, several other cast members and Jason Lee of ‘Hollywood Unlocked’ fame too had the same questions for A1, and A1 did nothing to them.
A fan tweeted, “Really A1? You don't put your hands on nobody.. He's not the only gossiping person. You didn't come at zell or Jason Lee like that did you? At least zell new chic had Ray back! #LHHH”. Another fan wrote, “A1 trying to put his hands on ray is WEAK like ni**a gtfff he should be trying to fight the WHOLE cast because everybody said it once before #LHHH”. “Wasn't Ray J spreading that A1 may not be Lyrica baby daddy or did they forget was Safaree not acting as if he was fucking Lyrica .... Why A1 ain't slap or swing on them? Im just curious #LHHH”.
Fans felt that it was unfair of A1 to pick on someone who isn’t as strong as him. Many of them didn’t appreciate that he attacked a gay man. A fan wrote, “First of all I think that was so corny of A1. Why are y'all still defending rumors or even bringing it up when you took the DNA test to prove it's not true? And why you didn't have that same energy for Jason Lee. Whack period #LHHH #lhhhollywood”. “The fact that A1 sucker slapped Mister Ray but didnt touch Safaree, Jason Lee or any of the several men that said he was cheating on his wife and that they didnt know who was the father of his son... is whack as hell and lame! #lhhhollywood #LHHH”, expressed a fan.
