‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’: Shooter and Kiyomi's jealous behavior makes fans question their open relationship
After getting out of an abusive relationship with rapper Bow Wow, Kiyomi Leslie moved to Atlanta to pursue a career in music and heal from the relationship. But, the girl got side-tracked and ended up falling for the resident player of Atlanta- Shooter Gates.
Long time ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ fans would know that Shooter has a tough time being loyal in a relationship. He cheated on his wife Sierra Gates on the national television by hooking up with her assistant and showed no remorse about his behavior.
So, when Kiyomi Leslie offered to be in an open relationship with Shooter, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say he was ecstatic about it. Unfortunately, both of them don’t seem to understand how open relationship works. Kiyomi was beyond upset and jealous when she learned about Shooter’s girlfriend Cheyenne. While Shooter didn’t seem too pleased when he heard that Kiyomi was hooking up with Scrapp DeLeon.
So fans began wondering if the two even understand how an open relationship works. A fan tweeted, “They keep saying it’s an open relationship but so damn worried about the next person. #LHHATL.” Several fans are convinced that Kiyomi doesn’t really want an open relationship with Shooter, but is just doing it to keep him around. A fan wrote, “Kiyomi looks so dumb. Talking about an open relationship when she was just trying to fight Bow about women all the time. She lowered standards to keep a man. Talking about she the main chick. Girl we know this is fake and low self esteem. #LHHATL.”
Another fan shared, “#lhhatl be blowing me. Especially my the Shooter situation. Cheyenne didn’t deserve that & if Kiyomi is really the “hbic” how come Cheyenne never heard of her? Girl you ain’t slick. The “open relationship” is just a cover up cuz you know you can’t keep him.”
“Kiyomi you already said “WE cAn TAlK ToGeTHER “ now YOU the HBIC pressed cause you have to be at the meeting??? the only reason Shooter agreed to an open relationship was so he could have a ticket to cheat on you without “cheating” DUMMY YOMI #LHHATL,” pointed out a fan.
Fans also pointed out to Shooter that he might not have understood the concept of open relationship properly. A fan commented, “Shooter, that’s not how an open relationship works! All parties need to be aware of the arrangements #LHHATL.”
“Shooter if your in an open relationship then all bets are off. You can’t control who the partner talk to. Y’all mfs so damn greedy. Y’all want the cake and pie and eat it to. #LHHATL,” observed another fan.
