'Legacies': Fans are all for Josie and Hope, say it is the only 'endgame' they support

As of now Josie's love interest is Raphael and Hope's is Landon. However, if the showrunners can make a gargoyle show up in school, making Hosie happen shouldn't be hard.

Hope Mikaelson and Josie Saltzman seem to be making quite the impression with fans of the CW supernatural spin-off, 'Legacies'. The show is definitely turning out to be a fast favorite for 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'The Originals' fandom, thanks to their realistic characters and a great storyline. However, fans appear to be asking for a slight change in the storyline for Hope and Josie - they want the two to end up together.

Hope and Josie have definitely been fan favorites individually this season. Both of them are incredibly powerful witches who are also sweet and down to earth. Their characters have maturity and depth in comparison to the rest of the students at the Salvatore School for the Young and the Gifted, the institution for supernatural kids in Mystic Falls. Things get better ten folds when the two of them are onscreen together - their chemistry is palpable.

While their relationship has been platonic so far, fans feel that it should definitely be a possibility. "The two actresses very much ship their characters," said a fan, referring to Danielle Rose Russell and Kaylee Bryant, who play Hope and Josie respectively. "I think they’re the ones that came up with Hosie way before the show premiered," the fan added. Bryant and Rusell had engaged on a post on Twitter totally shipping 'Hosie'.

Another fan added, "Huh I was beginning to think I was the only one who had this thought. Saw some serious chemistry between the two of them during the gargoyle episode if I remember correctly." In the third episode this season, when the gargoyle attacks the school, Hope and Josie join forces to defeat the ancient visitor. Being two very powerful witches, their strength saved the school - it also started a budding friendship between the two. It was further solidified in the next episode when they are sent to do some community service together. In a super awe-inspiring moment, Josie pulls out a trash picker lodged in Hope's foot and the two girls joke about their fights earlier.

Currently, on the show, Josie's love interest is Raphael and Hope's is Landon.

"Make it happen THEY NEED TO BE HAPPY," wrote a fan while another said, "High key want Hope to turn gay so she can date Josie. They deserve each other." One fan collectively summed up the fandom's emotions in a single tweet, saying, "I think we all collectively agree that #Hosie is endgame and that it is the only ship everyone in the fandom supports."
