LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Disney+'s most recent science fiction series, 'The Acolyte', transports viewers to the peak of the Jedi Order and features the Jedis with their iconic lightsabers.

The creative brainchild of Leslye Headland, the action-adventure show takes place while the Jedi Order is at its zenith, wielding enormous power and keeping the galaxy peaceful, but a series of crimes begin to occur.

Amidst this, a young Padawan student named Osha (Amandla Stenberg) and a Jedi Master named Sol (Lee Jung-jae) are thrown into the heart of the mystery.

The series, which premiered its first two episodes on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, is garnering popularity and appreciation among viewers owing to its storyline and stellar acting chops. 

Internet expresses their admiration for 'The Acolyte'

The 'Star Wars' fans were in for a ride as soon as the series premiered and expressed their thoughts and opinions about it, with many stating that they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Sharing the same opinion, a fan said, "Have FINALLY seen episode one of The Acolyte! I jumped up and down when the vector appeared onscreen and my husband and kid were looking at me funny. And then Vernestra! Will need to wait for episode two due to life, but YES! It was FUN! For light and life!"

The Korean superstar Lee Jung-Jae, best known for his performance in 'Squid Game', has also gained the affection and appreciation of fans for his portrayal of Jedi Master Sol.

Sharing their two cents about Jung-jae as Sol, a fan said, "We are all about Master Sol! Lee Jung-jae continues to be amazing. TheAcolyte."



 

Another added, "After looking back at moments from these first two acolyte episodes I’m falling more and more in love with the subtleties of lee jung-jae’s performance as sol — he brings an easy, heartfelt warmth that I don’t think I’ve felt so strongly from any jedi in the saga so far."



 

"Lee Jung-jae, the Squid Game guy, is pretty good in Acolyte," said a fan.



 

Another fan described Sol as the highlight of the show and remarked, "Master Sol is the best part of the show, if not the only part. Lee Jung-jae is outstanding. He was born to be a Jedi Master."
