Fathers of two Michael Jackson accusers killed themselves over abuse suffered by their sons
Two of the fathers whose sons had accused pop superstar Michael Jackson of molesting them when they were young, took their own lives after they were plagued by guilt over the alleged child abuse. Wade Robson and Jordy Chandler's fathers committed suicide while they were estranged from their families. Robson appears in the explosive documentary, HBO's 'Leaving Neverland', where he speaks in detail about the alleged grooming and abuse he suffered at the hands of Jackson.
In the film, he speaks about how his father Dennis hanged himself after he suffered from a mental breakdown in 2002. At that time, Robson had maintained that the pop star had never molested him. The Sun reported, however, that in the 2013 civil action that Robson filed against the Jackson estate, the Australian-native choreographer claimed that his father, who had been bipolar, suffered from "anxiety and depression" because he suspected that his son was being abused.
