Two of the fathers whose sons had accused pop superstar Michael Jackson of molesting them when they were young, took their own lives after they were plagued by guilt over the alleged child abuse. Wade Robson and Jordy Chandler's fathers committed suicide while they were estranged from their families. Robson appears in the explosive documentary, HBO's 'Leaving Neverland', where he speaks in detail about the alleged grooming and abuse he suffered at the hands of Jackson.

In the film, he speaks about how his father Dennis hanged himself after he suffered from a mental breakdown in 2002. At that time, Robson had maintained that the pop star had never molested him. The Sun reported, however, that in the 2013 civil action that Robson filed against the Jackson estate, the Australian-native choreographer claimed that his father, who had been bipolar, suffered from "anxiety and depression" because he suspected that his son was being abused.

The legal complaint that was filed read: "The thought that Plaintiff [Wade Robson] might have been sexually abused by Decedent [Jackson] was a huge source of anxiety and depression for his father."

Evan Chandler's son Jordy was the first boy to publicly accuse Jackson of molestation in 1993. The dentist and film screenwriter, however, watched his life fall apart around him after his family was paid $23 million by the singer.

Evan was infamous for asking his son if Jackson touched his genitals while his 13-year-old was sedated during a dental procedure. The accusation from the Chandler family and the following scandal made the father the number one enemy of the singer's loyal fans. Raymond, Evan's brother, said that the dentist went through 19 plastic surgery procedures to disguise his appearance after receiving multiple death threats.

He also said that his brother became a paranoid recluse who even bought a .38-caliber pistol because he was afraid he would be murdered by a Jackson fanatic. It is with this same weapon that he shot himself in the head in 2009 - just 4 four months after Jackson died of a drug overdose. Raymond told The Daily Mail: "The Jackson saga was like a cancer in the family, and it has affected us all. We were never the same afterward."

Both the fathers, Evan and Dennis, died all alone and estranged from their respective families. In the documentary, Robson revealed that his father, Dennis had suffered from manic episodes when he lived with them in LA. He said: "He was doing things like going on walks in the middle of the night through LA. Getting on buses and we would have to find him. I think it terrified me but my reaction was just to get angry, and I just wanted him to go."

Dennis went back to Australia to live away from his wife and children. He hanged himself in the family home after his son Shane, who was staying with him at the time, decided to move to LA for six months to stay with his mother and siblings.

MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) previously reported that Shane said of the last time he spoke to his father: "The day that I left my grandparents, his mum and dad, came over before I headed to the airport. And I remember dad didn't say a word nothing at all. Kind of like a statue staring off in the distance. And then I remember saying goodbye and giving him a hug and I don't think he ever hugged me. The lights were on but no one was home."

It was also reported earlier that Evan died from a single gunshot wound to the head at his luxury apartment in Jersey City, New Jersey. It was in this same property that he fell out with Jordy in 2005. The dentist and screenwriter allegedly had a violent temper and attacked his son with a heavy weight, like a dumbbell, and a can of mace.

The assault took place two months after Jackson was acquitted of molesting Gavin Arvizo, which prompted the then-teen Jordy to sue his own father. Jordy, who also claimed in the complaint that his father tried to choke him in the attack and he reportedly never forgave his dad.
