Eminem sides with Chris Brown after Rihanna assault in leaked audio: 'I'd beat a b**** down too'
A newly leaked audio allegedly featured Eminem lyrics where he sided with Chris Brown over Rihanna post the infamous 2009 assault.
According to Insider, a leaked audio file from the 'Rap God' rapper was circulated on Reddit from what would become B.o.B's 2011 track 'Things Get Worse'. Eminem could allegedly be heard saying, "Of course I side with Chris Brown, I'd beat a b**** down too." It is worth noting that Eminem and Rihanna had worked together on their hit songs 'Love The Way You Lie' parts I and II just the year before in 2010.
It is reported that the two massive stars had befriended one another and then went on to work together two more times with 2012's 'Numb' and 2013's 'The Monster'. While shedding some light on Brown's assault, Rihanna's fans and followers took to social media to slam Eminem.
One fan wrote, "Eminem grown a** really glorifying Rihanna abuse for a damn song after my fav lend her vocals to numerous songs for him is disgusting". Another fan added, "Without Rihanna, nobody this side of 2009 would have heard of Eminem’s raggedy a**". Brown and Rihanna had dated on and off between 2008 and 2013.
As a result of the brutal attack, Brown was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats post an argument turning violent where he physically assaulted Riri. Upon pleading guilty, Brown accepted a plea deal and received around five years of probation aside from community service and domestic violence counseling.
Despite the domestic abuse, Brown, and Rihanna somehow managed to be friends and in 2012, Brown dumped his girlfriend Karrueche Tran to get back with Riri. However, it did not last too long and in 2013, the couple said goodbye for good. Since then, Rihanna has moved on and is with Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel.
