HENRYETTA, OKLAHOMA: A lawyer for the family of Jesse McFadden's victim Ivy Webster has slammed law enforcement for failing to seize crucial evidence from the convicted rapist's home. Two missing teenagers, Ivy Webster and Brittany Brewer, were reportedly found dead along with five other people on May 1, 2023, including convicted rapist McFadden. The four other victims have been identified as McFadden's wife Holly Guess, 35, and her children -- Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 17, Michael James Mayo, 15, and Tiffany Dore Guess, 13.

Authorities found disturbing items inside McFadden's home, including a shelf filled with books related to witchcraft, sex, and bondage devices, a restraint with fresh locks and chains still attached. The laundry room contained drug paraphernalia, weapons, a human dog collar, and handcuffs. The Webster family's lawyer Cameron Spradling, however, said there were crucial pieces of evidence that were not collected. “There is no doubt this was a house of horrors,” he said, according to KFOR.

'What happened here is a national embarrassment'

The computers and the victims’ phones were allegedly left behind. “Local law enforcement had no idea of the value of what was left behind,” said Spradling. He suggested that the computers and the phones could have helped find more predators and potential victims, and maybe pictures of the victims before they were killed.

“If they brought a U-haul they probably carried everything out of that house. All of it,” said Spradling, adding, “What happened here is a national embarrassment.” The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations was later called in. The case was handed over to them. The agents brought a U-haul.

In a series of tweets, Spradling gave an insight into the developments of the case and slammed law enforcement for their "cavalier attitude". "Henryetta Tragedy: As attorney for the Ivy Webster family I have received confirmation that the investigation involving the contents within the house & the forensic investigation of all electronic devices discovered by the family has been turned back over to the OSBI," he wrote.

"On behalf of the Ivy Webster family, we express our deep thanks for the work of all media outlets who revealed the evidence within the house of horrors that had not been seized and secured by law enforcement," he added.

"Thank you @kfor and their intrepid reporter @kayleeolivastv

for revealing the cavalier attitude of local law enforcement. The story last night was the breaking point that brought the @OSBI_OK back in the picture," Spradling said, adding, "I want to thank my clients; Justin Webster, Ashleigh Webster, and Shannon Boykin in never giving up the fight to assure that all evidence would be preserved to find & protect other victims of sexual predators that had come into contact with this monster via the internet."

Jesse McFadden was released from prison early

McFadden was a convicted rapist. He was given a 20-year sentence for a 2004 first-degree rape charge in Pittsburg County, as per the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. He was accused of exchanging nude photos and videos with an underage girl from the Jess Dunn Correctional Center. For this crime, he was charged with soliciting sexual communications with a minor and possession/distribution of juvenile content. However, McFadden was released from prison on October 30, four years earlier than it was scheduled, according to the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registry. His trial for the charges related to the exchange with the minor was supposed to begin on April 1.

'All this seems too sloppy'

Social media users expressed their anger at law enforcement's lack of seriousness, with one user saying, "Here is my inference about how poorly this case has been investigated. The mindset is “It's a murder-suicide and nothing to investigate since there is no one to prosecute”— but who gives the answers to those parents who lost their daughter in this collateral damage? Someone needs to & I hope @Okla_OAG does the right thing and asks other agencies to get involved. How many victims are out there that we don't know? Who else could be involved? Has the storage unit been processed for evidence? What type of evidence was collected since so many things were left behind? So many questions that are missing answers— the family, the community, and as a society we deserve better from officials who are supposed to protect us, the people."

"Exactly!!! This disturbs me some kind of bad!!!!" another user said. "Not to mention there could be info about other pedophiles and other victims on those devices found in the house," said a user.

"Since they didn't bother properly inspecting the house there could even be hidden cameras throughout it. If there are, any child who ever spent the night there could potentially be in the net showering, changing, etc. They deserve to know & have ADULTS working to wipe those videos," one user said.

Meanwhile, another wrote, "There was other stuff left behind I don't care about the monitors— I can imagine how the entire scene was processed since all this seems too sloppy."
