Law & Order actress Diane Neal caught in profanity-laden rant at ex JB Benn telling him she'd kill him and his dog
New audio tapes have shed more light on 'Law and Order' actress Diane Neal and her former partner JB Benn's relationship, with the recordings revealing the actress threatening Benn while hinting that she would kill his dog.
The audiotape has surfaced months after Law & Order actress Neal, 43, accused Benn, 44, of nine charges that included fraud, defamation, assault and battery, and others. She also filed an amended complaint against her former partner, calling him a 'manipulative and maniacal fraudster'. While Benn has denied these claims, the two have since separated and are not on speaking terms.
The couple met at a 2013 fundraiser and separated in March 2018. The tapes likely date from 2017.
In the audio, Neal can be heard telling Benn that he has no friends while making a statement about "murdering" his dog, as reported by Daily Beast. Neal and Benn can be heard arguing over Benn's refusal to give Neal his passcode for the phone. "Do you think doing manual labor on a house that doesn't belong to me and spending my own money and all my f*****g time and all my f*****g energy doing that is f*****g helpful to me," she can be heard saying in the audio.
She continued, "Is it helpful for someone like that to be treated like s**t for four years? For you to start s**t with everyone I f*****g know? For you to isolate me? For you to be a prick and then spend my f*****g money on your f*****g house and you to be such a selfish prick? I've never met your f*****g parents and I don't know your f*****g cellphone code? Is that helpful?… Do you think there would be self-esteem building for anyone?"
When Benn hints that he would break up with Neal, the actress talks about making his life miserable while adding that she would kill his dog.
"F*****g you deserve to die," Neal says. 'You want to be Peter Pan? I'll kill you before you get f****g old motherf****r… You saw me doing what I f*****g love, and you took it all away."
Previously, Neal also shared recordings where Benn was heard threatening her. People close to the pair have also hinted about the problems and arguments the two often had. Neal's lawyer, Sarmad M Khojasteh, said in a statement that the tape allows people to look into the torture that Neal had to go through when she was with Benn.
He further added that the tape was used by Benn to distract people from knowing what exactly has happened. He stated that the tape was used "solely to distract from the allegations of physical and sexual assault against him, which are corroborated by witnesses and photographs, and from the fact that he was arrested for stalking Ms. Neal in the last six months, pled guilty, and currently is under an order of protection prohibiting him from contacting her."
