Laura Ingraham gets slammed as she supports Donald Trump's claim about 'assassination' of auto industry by Biden admin
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On Wednesday, September 27, former President Donald Trump delivered criticism towards President Joe Biden, Democrats, and major automakers regarding electric cars during a speech in the Detroit suburbs.
The speech took place while his Republican opponents were preparing for the second GOP presidential debate in California.
Trump spoke at a non-union plant, Drake Enterprises which is an auto parts manufacturer in Clinton Charter Township, Michigan.
He focused a significant portion of his remarks on an audience not present at the venue, the United Auto Workers union members who were on strike in 20 states at the time.
Following this event, Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham took to X (formerly Twitter) and supported Trump’s statements.
However, the internet didn’t respond positively to Ingraham’s tweet as she faced backlash.

In her tweet, she also quoted Donald Trump, “Biden's mandate isn't a government regulation, it's a government assassination of your jobs and your industry," Trump said.
"The auto industry is being assassinated. And it makes no difference what you get, I don't care what you get in the next two weeks or three weeks or five weeks. They're going to be closing up and they're going to be building those cars in China and other places. It's a hit job on Michigan and on Detroit, and that's not sustainable."
Trump’s blast on Biden’s record on auto manufacturing and workers came after POTUS visited the picket line.
He further added, “He only came after I announced that I would be here," and said that Biden only spoke for a "few seconds."
