'Labor of Love' Preview: Keith gets upset with Alan for stealing his date idea and has an outburst
Keith Reams wasn't playing around when he decided to appear on 'Labor of Love' with the hopes of settling down and becoming a father. Keith has time and again displayed his competitive side when it comes to wooing the mother-to-be- Kristy Katzmann. The previous episode featured Keith getting into a fight with Matt Kaye after Matt kept interrupting Jason Christopher.
Jason was trying to narrate an incident when he tried to get Kristy to kiss him, and Matt had a lot of questions about Kristy's reactions and feelings. This annoyed Keith to no end, as he was interested in hearing the whole story without any interruptions. although Matt and Keith never got into a physical fight, there's definitely tension bubbling between the two contestants.
Almost everybody has noticed how competitive and passive-aggressive Keith can get, and seem to be wary of it. In the upcoming episode, we see Keith losing his temper at yet another contestant. This time around it is Alan Santini. Kristy decides to go on a date with the men. So, Keith decides to impress Kristi by cooking something special for her and surprising her with it. He appears to have discussed his masterplan with Alan,
In the next scene, we see Alan walking towards Kristi's door with a dish in his hand. When Keith noticed that Alan was carrying a dish, he walks out of the room and breaks a bowl in anger. Keith can be heard shouting that he doesn't want to be anybody's "sloppy seconds". Later, Alan comes back to see a broken bowl and learns from another contestant about Keith's outburst. We see Keith explaining in his green room interview that Alan stole the date idea from him. We hope things don't get worse between Keith and Alan. Hopefully, Keith learns to control his temper and not have frequent outbursts.
'Labor of Love' follows Kristy, a 41-year-old successful and beautiful woman, who has everything that she wants in her life, except for a child. She meets 15 men on the show, who are keen on settling down and embracing parenthood, just like Kristy. After eight weeks of challenges and romantic dates, Kristy will decide if she has found the man with whom she'd like to settle down and start a family or if she'd rather continue on the path to motherhood on her own.
'Labor of Love' airs every Thursday at 9/8 c on FOX.
