Kylie Rae Harris death: Country music star tearfully talked about death and a car crash in videos posted hours before fatal accident
Popular country singer Kylie Rae Harris died in a car accident in New Mexico on Wednesday, September 4. The crash involved three cars and also claimed the life of another driver who was 16-years-old. The singer's last few hours were spent sharing memories while she was driving down the road. She had shared a series of haunting videos on her Instagram as she spoke about another car crash in a different state. The other accident had involved her sister and father. She had also added that all the members of her family who lived in the Taos area in New Mexico had died there, with the only surviving member being her uncle.
On Wednesday night, she joined her family as she died in Taos. Her video clips started with a boomerang of the road which she had captioned, 'Current Sitch: Iffy'. She also shared a boomerang of herself doing a thumbs up after filling up the car tank. Things then started to go downhill. Her next video showed her emotional and teary-eyed as she spoke about her family and how they had died. She had shared, "Alright, I look a mess. It’s because I’ve been crying. It’s a good cry. I just got to Taos, New Mexico. But for those of you who don’t know, I spent the last 20 years of my life coming to Taos with my dad and my sister."
She went on to reveal that her grandparents had lived there as does her uncle. "Literally, everybody that was here has passed away, except for my uncle, and including my dad," she continued. As it turned out, these Instagram stories would be Harris's last as she met with the car crash around four hours after she uploaded her stories. Harris's publicist confirmed her death in a statement to Billboard. "We have no further details to share and ask for privacy for her family at this time. Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music. The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you."
