Kylie Jenner flaunts sharp nails while baking cupcakes with daughter Stormi, Internet calls her 'disgusting'
What was meant to be a wholesome YouTube video of a mother and her daughter baking Grinch-themed cupcakes drew a lot of controversy for child safety, as Kylie Jenner baked cupcakes with her daughter Stormi while sporting extremely long, sharp fingernails. The short, five-minute YouTube video saw the two in matching Grinch Christmas outfits, celebrating the star's 'KYLIE X GRINCH' line of Kylie Cosmetics. Viewers expressed concern that Kylie Jenner's nails could harm Stormi at any moment.
The video was soon trending on YouTube. Kylie's YouTube channel, which has almost 10 million followers, features a number of videos about her personal life, as well as promotional material for her makeup business. The video in question was part of a series of similar videos showing Kylie and her daughter making sweets and pastries in the kitchen. The video was released with the caption, "In celebration of my KYLIE X GRINCH collection launching today, Stormi and I made Grinch cupcakes!" and included a link to Jenner's cosmetics workshop. Though many found the video to be adorable, others could not take their eyes off of Jenner's long, brown, pointed fingernails.
"How the hell does @KylieJenner not poke her child’s eyes out with those spikey nails?!!" writes one fan, on Twitter. "I see. And how is it you make cupcakes with ten knives glued to your nails? Everything about you ppl and this unholy empire you’ve created is fake and empty and nauseating. You’re everywhere, and we’re poorer because if it," writes another fan. "The only thing I like about kylie jenner, is Stormi. Only Stormi. And who the hell cook/bake with long nails? So disgusting," writes another.

You can watch the video below, as Kylie Jenner and Stormie whip up a batch of green cupcakes with the Grinch's face on each one of them. Despite Kylie Jenner's long nails, Stormi remained uninjured, and the nails do not appear to be an impediment in the cooking.
Stormi, who is two years old, is the daughter of Kylie Jenner and her ex-husband Travis Scott, a rapper and performer. Jenner and Scott split up in October, 2019, but have since continued to co-parent Stormi. Born in February, 2018, Stormi has already garnered a huge fan following online, with fans clamoring for more videos of Kylie and Stormi baking treats in the kitchen.
Of course, Stormi's following is nothing compared to her mother's. Kylie Jenner recently passed 200 million followers on Instagram, beating her half-sister Kim Kardashian by a margin of at least 9 million followers in a race for the coveted milestone earlier in November. The 23-year-old model has starred in 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' since the age of 10 in 2007, and has grown up with the show.
She has since gone on to become the founder and the owner of Kylie Cosmetics, whose Grinch-themed Christmas line is the reason for the video in the first place. In 2019, Forbes magazine labeled her the world's youngest self-made billionaire, though records that have been released since have put that title into some dispute.
