Fans slammed Kylie Jenner after she posted a photo of her wearing a pair of 'real mink fur slippers' just hours after putting up a post about "half a billion animals" being "killed in the Australia" wildfires which she captioned "this breaks my heart."

The first photo was of a koala being rescued from the wildfires that have devastated the country for months now, while the second seemingly tone-deaf post showed her £1,080 ($1,420) Louis Vuitton homey flat mule slippers on Instagram Stories.

She was immediately branded a "hypocrite" and criticized for being "so disconnected" by her fans for showing remorse over the impacts of the wildfires and following it up by modeling shoes made of real animal fur.

"Seeing kylie jenner post about the koalas being killed by the fires in australia followed by a picture of her wearing mink sandals on her instagram story really made me realize the extent to which the kardashian family’s stupidity reaches," one user commented, while a second wrote, "Rich people are so disconnected it's unreal."

A third wrote, "Likeee... kylie jenner posting a boohoo about dying koalas then straight after posing in her real fur shoes. how would you like someone to come and skin you alive sis."

Another fan gave the youngest self-made billionaire credit where it was due but also slammed her for her lack of sensitiveness.

"B4 this blows up don't get me wrong I appreciate her supporting awareness and donating money (she may not have spoke of it but I'm sure she has) but crying about koalas then posting this isn't clever at all," the user said.

There were also others who pointed out that neither the lip-kit mogul, nor her millionaire sisters have pledged donations to any Australian bushfire reliefs.

"Nothing gets me more heated than to see the Kardashians/Jenners talk about climate change/wildfires & not donate even a penny," one user wrote, to which Kim Kardashian replied, "Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything."
