Kyle Rittenhouse says 'f**k you, LeBron' for star's mean tweet calling his tears fake
Kyle Rittenhouse was a LeBron James devotee until James slammed Rittenhouse's emotional testifying at his trial. The basketball legend had mocked Rittenhouse's tears in a tweet. Rittenhouse hasn't taken it lightly and addressed it during a recent online interview.
Rittenhouse surely didn't forget James' mockery. "Before he said that, I was a Lakers fan as well." When questioned about LeBron's controversial tweet, Rittenhouse stated, "I was extremely pissed off when he said that because I liked LeBron, and then I was like, you know what, f**k you, LeBron."

Rittenhouse also said that if he could travel back in time, he wouldn't go to Kenosha again. "I defended myself and that's what happened," Rittenhouse stated on The Blaze's 'You Are Here', which was hosted by Elijah Schaffer and Sydney Watson.
"Everyone should be capable of self-defense," Rittenhouse said. "I believe that the right to self-defense is a God-given right. The right to self-defense was up for debate in Wisconsin."
Kyle Rittenhouse collapsed at the Kenosha County Courthouse on November 10, 2021, while testifying about the events of August 25, 2020, in Kenosha. The video rapidly went viral, prompting many to criticize him for what they perceived to be phoney tears. LeBron James, who was watching the video of Rittenhouse sobbing, jumped in and chastised him for his "fake tears."

The same day, James reposted a tweet from USA Today about Rittenhouse's collapse, writing, "What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court." In that tweet, he also sent three laughing face emojis. Of course, he wasn't the only one who said the tears were artificial.
His comment drew a lot of attention. The tweet received over 36,000 retweets, 242,000 likes, and hundreds of comments in only a few hours. Many Twitter users appeared to agree with James, with memes equating Rittenhouse's breakdown to that of Brett Kavanaugh and Dawson from "Dawson's Creek". However, it appears that not everyone agreed with him. Many of the responses to James' tweet appear to be from people backing Rittenhouse and many criticised James for mocking the defendant.
