'The Young And The Restless' star Kristoff St. John, who died on Sunday at 52, was apparently so devastated by his son's suicide in 2014 that his life changed forever.
In a conversation with People, Stephanie Sloane, editorial director of Soap Opera Digest, spoke of Kristoff's death. "He was able to overcome so many things, but the death of Julian was just a breaking point for him in a lot of ways," she said.
On November 23, 2014, following a long battle with mental illness, Julian St. John committed suicide at the young age of 24.
