Internet slammed Kristi Noem for her alleged extramarital affair after Sean Hannity shared a clip of Donald Trump's remarks regarding her as a potential VP candidate

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former president Donald Trump was recently interviewed by Kristen Welker on ‘Meet the Press’, where he briefly spoke about South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem when asked about his views on a female vice president.

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter, as well as his website to report about Trump and Noem following the former POTUS' interview with Welker. The internet, however, slammed Noem for her alleged extramarital affair.

“Married Republican South Dakota Gov Kristi Noem has engaged in a years-long affair with longtime Donald Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski,” the New York Post had previously reported.

Sean Hannity reports on Donald Trump’s possible running mate

On X, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity shared a brief clip of Donald Trump and Kristen Welker, where Welker asked the former President as he spoke about running mates and vice presidency, “Are you leaning toward a woman?”

Trump responded, “I like the concept, but we’re going to pick the best person, but I like the concept.” Upon this, Welker mentioned Kristi Noem and the time she “endorsed” Trump and asked if he had his “eye on her.”

“I do,” Trump said and continued, “I think she’s fantastic, she’s been a great governor, she gave me a full-throated endorsement, a beautiful endorsement actually, and it’s been a very good state for me, and certainly she’d be one of the people I consider or for something else maybe but we have a lot of great people in the Republican Party."

In addition to sharing a clip of Trump and Noem, Hannity also shared an article on his official website titled “TRUMP-NOEM 2024? Don Says 'She's Been Fantastic,' 'One of the People I'd Consider' [WATCH].”

The tweet quoted Trump and read, “TRUMP: “She’s been a great governor. She gave me a very full-throated endorsement, a beautiful endorsement actually."

Internet slams Kristi Noem for alleged affair

In response to Fox News anchor Sean Hannity's tweet, the internet was laser-focused on Krist Noem and called her a “cheater”. One person wrote, “He relates to her because she's a cheater too,” while another said, “Now that he knows she's willing to cheat on her husband, he's interested, right?”

“Pick the person having a very public affair????? yep checks out,” said one person, while  another user on X wrote, “Adulterer supports adulterer.”

People continued to slam Noem as one said, “She does check the adultery box,” while one wrote, “Because a commitment to infidelity is important to Trump.”
