All Kim Kardashian had to do was sit on a couch wearing a netball bib and act confused by her costar's pronunciation of "noice" on an Uber Eats commercial and she got to go home $2 million richer.

The latest advertisement for the food delivering app went viral after it hit social media last month, with Australians making an instant connection with it due to the fact that it referenced netball and a slew of jokes about mid-2000s sitcom 'Kath & Kim'.

Magda Szubanski, who played Sharon Strzelecki — one of the iconically loved characters from the show, also starred in the commercial. Many Twitter users praised the commercial calling it a "masterpiece" and "the greatest Uber advert ever made."

Although most of the lines in the advertisement were spoken by an extremely comical Magda, with the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star "literally" saying three lines, one of which was just variations of the word "nice", and she was paid a whopping $2 million for her role.

The amount Kim had charged for shooting the advertisement was previously reported by Junkee, although it was not confirmed at the time. The report at the time contemplated that Kim's global popularity might have something to do with the price hike. The fee was confirmed last week by NW magazine.

In an interview on the Today show last week, Magda said that she was surprised that the mother-of-four agreed to do the commercial in the first place as she is seen in very few skits like these. She added that the KKW beauty mogul was initially confused by the commercial as she had no idea what netball actually was.

"At first, she thought it was some kind of joke about the Met Ball. And it's the most anti-fashion ad that you can imagine!" she said.

Magda later told Fitzy & Wippa that she and Kim were not actually in the same room when the commercial was shot earlier this year. She joked that Kim had to film her side of the conversation two days beforehand due to Sharon's "busy schedule".

"They were in the same room, but not at the same time," she said.
