Fan who spent $550k on 20 surgeries to look like Kim Kardashian left with 'fish lips' after botched filler op
A woman who was hellbent on looking like Kim Kardashian and spent over $500,000 on multiple surgeries for this has announced she will not go under the knife again after a botched procedure left her with "fish lips."
Jennifer Pamplona, 27, from Los Angeles, told the Daily Mail that she realized her dream of looking like Kim was over after a surgery where she had three milliliters of lip filler injected into her top and bottom lip did not have the intended results.
She said she left the clinic feeling she was suffering a reaction to the filler, and that when she got home and looked herself in the mirror, she had to stop with her obsession.
"After my surgery was done I felt as though I was having a reaction and later on that day they were bleeding a lot and felt very painful," she said. "When I saw the result of them I couldn't believe it - I was completely botched and had been left with fish lips", she added.
Left with no other option, Pamplona rushed back to the clinic to have the $3,000 filler removed, but was told it would not be so straightforward.
"I had paid $3000 to be botched and was then told I had to wait two days to have the filler removed," she said. "I spent those days covering my face and staying inside, whenever I saw my face I would just start crying again."
While the procedure was ultimately reversed, the results were less than exemplary. Pamplona said her lips now "look like an old person" and that they "were stretched but look withered like a deflated balloon."
Over the years, Pamplona has spent $550,000 on over 20 procedures, including two nose jobs, two breast enhancements, having six pints of fat injected into her buttocks, and having eight ribs removed to achieve her goal of having 39-inch hips and a 21-inch waist.
It's not the first time that one of her surgeries had proved detrimental either.
In December 2018, she found that one of her 400 cc silicone implants that gave her a 34D bust had to be removed because it had developed a tear and left her in severe pain for two years. At the time, she had said she would not have any further surgeries but quickly reneged on that promise.
But after the most recent setback, the 27-year-old said she has learned a valuable lesson and has again vowed to stop.
"I have almost destroyed my face and my health all because I am a plastic surgery addict," she said. "When I removed all of the filler I got a lesson - I will never undergo surgery to fix something that's already good."
"I always want more and more and I almost destroyed my face and my health in the strive for perfection," she continued. "I want my story to serve as an example to every girl who wants "big lips" that it's not beautiful at all. The entire thing was a nightmare, but I'm glad I got my lesson."
