Kim Jong-un has reportedly launched a bizarre attack against teenage sex in North Korea. Over the last couple of weeks, the North Korea leader, who has been keeping a low profile, has now targeted "immorality" among the country's teenagers and deemed their "impure acts" as treasonous behavior. As per an Express report, Kim has blamed "decadent capitalist influences", including porn that has been smuggled in from across the Chinese border and shared via mobile phones and USB, for the teenaged students' behavior. He added that parents and teachers could face punishments should they fail to control teenagers' and their behavior.

An insider spoke to Radio Free Asia and said, "Recently more and more high school boys and girls are engaging in immoral sexual deviance, and the Central Committee of the Korean Workers’ Party has issued a directive calling for strong measures against them. The reason behind this order is that the local Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League in Sinuiju inspected high school students, and found that some high school boys and girls hang out with local gangsters, live together, and commit immoral acts such as prostitution."

"The immoral sexual behavior of students, who are influenced by capitalist lifestyles, has become a problem. The committee defined sexual promiscuity among teenagers as a treasonous act that helps the enemy to destroy our society," the insider continued.  "And since they are warning of strong punishment, students are shaking with fear," the source shared. The source also spoke about how a rise in "sexual promiscuity" has been due to a large rise in electronic media. The committee has also demanded that schools "check students for phones or other devices they might have with them." This monitoring has been done via an app called Red Flag that keeps a record of all sites that have been visited by users. The application also randomly takes screenshots which can be checked by authorities. Another source had revealed how there was widespread fear at the strict measure among educators.

"Teachers are anxious because of the warning that school principals, advisers to the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League and the Korean Children’s Union, and school teachers, will also be punished if there is a serious sexual violation among students," the insider revealed. Many have also been blaming the increase in sex drive on the fact that the school year has been postponed over coronavirus concerns. However, North Korea has not officially admitted to having any cases of coronavirus. "As students do not go to school and are staying at home, they naturally approach impure media with curiosity and share it with each other, so there is an increasing number of these immoral sexual behaviors," the source explained. While these strict measures have been implemented, it is believed that Kim himself is a fan of some parts of Western culture. It is reported that he is a big fan of basketball with former NBA star Dennis Rodman visiting North Korea as his guest.

Earlier in May, North Korea had slammed rumors that the leader was dead or was in a vegetative state after they released pictures of him at an event on May 1, New York Post reveals.
