Who owns Known Agenda?

The official website of Kentucky Derby cites St. Elias Stable as the owner of Known Agenda. The horse is trained by Todd A. Pletcher whereas, Irad Ortiz, Jr is listed as the Jockey. St. Elias Stables, LLC is named as the breeder of the Chestnut colt. Interestingly, the St. Elias Stables’ homebred, who is being considered as the top contenders of Kentucky Derby 2021, had earned 100 points on the 2021 Road to the Kentucky Derby after he won his 2 3/4-length victory in the $770,000 Florida Derby (G1) at Gulfstream Park on March 27, 2021. Known Agenda is best known for winning the same.

Known Agenda's pedigree

Known Agenda has an impeccable record on the dirt track. “I really like the way he handled the distance," his trainer Ortiz said after his win at the Florida Derby. "He was better. I like that. He’s a classy horse. He’s not too crazy. You can do anything with him. He’s got a good mind.”

The much-loved breed was sired by Curlin who is known for his speed over classic distances. Curlin also lifted the 2007 Preakness Stakes, 2007 Breeders' Cup Classic, and 2008 Dubai World Cup. Speaking of Known Agenda, he was produced by Byrama, who was bred in England but raced here in America. Known Agenda is her first winner from three foals of racing age. If we talk about the debut of the chestnut, he first showed his exceptional skills at Belmont Park on September 27, 2020, and managed to finish the race in the second position. The magnificent stallion has 16-1 current odds and 6-1 morning line odds, as listed on the official website.
