Canela the deer made an appearance on the latest photograph posted by influencer Kelvin Pena aka Brother Nature. Fans were very excited when they caught glimpse of their favorite deer on social media and began expressing their joy on seeing her look happy and healthy. On Friday night (June 5), Pena posted a picture of himself in his car, while Canela stood next to the car looking inside the window. In another picture, we see an excited Pena holding some bananas and showing it to Canela.

Fans expressed their excitement on seeing Canela and took to Twitter to share their love. While they were excited about Canela, they weren't so pleased with the sight of Pena. A fan tweeted, "Can't look at Brother Nature the same anymore.  Good to see 'Canela' tho." Another fan wrote, "We did not forget about that sucka a** sh*t you did. But I’m glad Canela straight." "YES, THE DEAR DEER QUEEN HAS RETURNED TO GRACE OUR FEED. ALL HAIL CARNELA," declared an excited fan. Another fan commented, "We ain’t forget Kelvin."

The 21-year-old Pena became an internet celebrity when he began posting videos of himself befriending wild animals when he was just 17. He became a household name after a video of him interacting with a herd of deers went viral. He later went on to call the deers "deer squad" and even named the deers. One of the deer named Canela is extremely popular on the internet.

Everything seemed to be going well for the young internet celebrity who went on to set up a non-profit organization called Everybody Eats Foundation. Pena continued posting videos of himself interacting with animals like chimpanzees and penguins among others. At the peak of his fame, a short documentary called 'Deer Squad' was filmed in which his interaction with the deers was documented.

However, everything went south when in 2018, his old tweets were reposted. The tweets showed the young influencer using racist and anti-semitic language. Following the resurfacing of these old tweets, Pena immediately apologized for his offensive and insensitive tweets. He wrote, "I apologize for 12-year-old Kelvin and take total responsibility for my words. Everyone changes, everyone learns, everyone makes mistakes."
