It goes without saying that a marriage takes a lot of work. It requires both partners to put in the time, effort and love, to help each other grow as individuals and as a couple. It definitely requires patience too.

While some couples date for years and a decade before tying the knot, there are 'Married At First Sight' couples, who marry their partner within the first few minutes of meeting them. While this doesn't always result in a happy ending for everyone, for some, it's how they meet their soulmates. And what it's worth, the show has had a pretty decent success rate so far.

'Married At First Sight: Couples Cam' Season 2: Release date, cast and all you need to know about the reality show

If you're curious to know what past MAFS couples have been up to, then get ready for season 2 'Married at First Sight Couples Cam'. From dealing with a pandemic, working on their relationship to taking care of their growing families, a self-shot series, 'Couples' Cam', gives us a look into the couple's lives.

Season 1 of 'Couples' Cam' gave us a status update on what Keith Dewar and Kristine Killingsworth of 'MAFS' Season 8 have been up to, and it proved to be a hectic 2020 for them. Before we get into that, here's a quick recap of their relationship.

The couple really stuck by each other

While most couples have their clear 'make it or break it' moments on the show, Keith and Kristine had an interesting run, to say the least. In theory, they seemed to fit well together, they even made an attractive couple. But the more they got to know each other, the more Kristine felt she had a manchild instead of a husband.

Keith was so used to his grandmother catering to his needs, including cooking, this seemed like new territory for him to pull his own weight. Kristine was not about to do all the hard work and wanted an equal marriage.

Moreover, Keith's messy stay habits did not leave a good impression. She was definitely stuck with a fixer-upper. The turning point of their relationship was when Keith's dad didn't show up for their meeting.

Meeting the spouse's parents is a part of the process of 'MAFS' and when Keith's father bailed on them, Keith vowed to be a better man than his father. This one incident led to him becoming the husband his new wife wanted. Kristine was there for him throughout the process.

Keith's job had him dealing with Covid-19

Covid-19 pandemic has proven to be a terrifying time for everyone; even more so if you're in the medical field. Keith a dialysis biomedical technician.

During Season 1 of 'Couples' Cam' last year, the two of them announced that Keith was called to the frontline and was assigned to the Covid isolation unit.

The couple did have to spend time apart, during which Kristine redecorated their Philadelphia home to stay busy. Kristine, who works in real estate, knows her way around a house and had no qualms in putting together her beautiful home.

We're hoping this season gives us a glimpse into their renovated home and a status update on Keith's work. Hopefully, the two finally get some quality time together.

'Married at First Sight: Couples' Cam' Season 2 premieres on Lifetime on February 4, Thursday, at 8/7c.
