Earlier, Indiana State Police linked Kline to the Delphi girls' murders. A report by The Sun stated that Kline, an alleged online catfish and accused pedophile, was in communication with Libby German through a fake Snapchat account. He apparently spoke to her hours before she died on the Delphi Historic Trails. He told investigators, "I literally have no clue how that girl died. I don't know anything, anything to do with it. Yeah, that is a weird a** coincidence that I happened to talk to her, like, I get that." He allegedly said that he received about 100 sexual pictures from about 15 underage girls. During the investigation, Kline was never officially named a suspect. The sentencing for Kline related to felony charges is scheduled for May 18.
