Is Kate Middleton pregnant with her fourth child? Missing engagement ring sparks rumors
Kate Middleton has three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—whom she shares with her husband Prince William and the couple has never publicly ruled out adding more children to their brood.
Royal fans are now hoping that the Cambridges will soon be expanding their family after Kate's latest outing.
On Tuesday, Kate was seen on an official visit to the Evelina children's hospital. She sported a stunning Dolce&Gabanna skirt suit for the outing. However, one major accessory was missing from her get up—her sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
The missing ring sent royal fans and followers into a frenzy with many speculating that Kate was suffering from swollen fingers which is a very common symptom in pregnancy.
According to NHS, swelling in pregnancy occurs as your body retains "more water than usual".
However, the Kensington Palace was the first to insist that Kate had removed her ring due to health and safety concerns to remove any potential hygiene hazards.
As per Ladbrokes, Kate is odds-on at 8/11 to announce the arrival of baby four before the end of 2020, Express reports. Alex Apati from Ladbrokes shared, "All eyes might be on Harry and Meghan right now but the Duchess of Cambridge could soon bring attention back to her with another royal baby announcement seemingly imminent."
Prince William and Kate tied the knot in 2011 at London's Westminster Abbey. The couple had their first baby Prince George in 2013, their second Princess Charlotte in 2015, and Prince Louis in 2018. Given that there is a pattern of roughly two years between each child, it could very well be that the couple is ready for their fourth!
Recently, Kate looked stunning as she arrived with Prince William for the BAFTAs. She was seen in a white gown with short sleeves and a long, flowing skirt that featured a gold metallic design. This was not the first time that she had worn the dress and was previously seen in it in the custom Alexander McQueen gown in 2012.
