Kanye West sports silver body paint and matching bizarre baggy outfit at new opera Mary in Miami

Rapper Kanye West is in Miami for his new opera Mary where he was seen sporting a rather bizarre and unique look. 

West, 42, was seen wearing a baggy silver outfit with some silver face paint that covered his entire head. He was seen with a bunch of performers who were also all painted silver from head to toe. West sported a baggy silver one-piece that fully covered him. His face, head and hands were all painted with silver color.

He also sported a pair of matching silver socks and silverslides as he arrived at the event that took place on Sunday afternoon on the final day of Art Basel. West took to Twitter to share a rare tweet where he promoted the opera.

The opera had been directed by Nicole Beecroft with music by the Sunday Service choir. 

The tweet also included a bible verse-Luke 1:30-31 that read, "And the angel said unto her, fear not, Mary: For thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son, and shallt call his name Jesus."

Mary is his second opera post his debut in 'Nebuchadnezzar'. 

West had served as the narrator of 'Nebuchadnezzar', Sheck Wes, that featured several musical performances by Peter Collins and Infinity’s Song. It was just last week that West was making headlines when he revealed that he will join televangelist Joel Osteen as part of his annual Night of Hope at the Yankee Stadium next year. 

The event will be taking place at the Yankee Stadium in May next year and West and Osteen will have an even bigger audience. Last month, West was seen at Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. The rapper also recently released his album 'Jesus is King' - a Christian hip hop album. 

The album was the first to simultaneously top the Billboard 200, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Top Rap Albums, Top Christian Albums and Top Gospel Albums.
