Rapper Kanye West has sent his best wishes to POTUS Donald Trump and Melania Trump after they had tested positive for COVID-19. West admitted that he thinks "there's a crying need for civility across the board." The 43-year-old would like everyone to know that he is not being at all biased when it comes to people who have contracted the coronavirus. Trump and Melania tested positive for the virus on Thursday, October 1.

West shared that while he may be running against him for president, he wishes him and Melania a 'full recovery'. In his tweet, he had also mentioned Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, 77, and his wife Jill Biden, 69, who had both tested negative for the virus.

West's tweet read, "There’s a crying need for civility across the board. We need to and will come together in the name of Jesus. I’m praying for President Trump’s and Melania’s full recovery, just as I would for Joe and Jill Biden if they were stricken, as well as everyone else with COVID-19."

Many of West's fans and followers took to the comments section to praise him and were in agreement with him. One such user shared, "Amen! People are so evil and hateful nowadays. I would never wish death on Joe Biden and as a Christian, I prayed for Obama when he was in office. People are exposing how wicked their heart really is. Turn to Jesus."

Another social media user had added, "Some of us know this and live this way and have ALWAYS lived this way and will continue to live this way. Treating our fellow humans with love. We can disagree but always agree to love not hate! Life is fleeting. Life is precious. Time is short." "Thank you Yeezy, youre a true man of God and you warm my soul with the Holy Spirit... this is a God dream," commented yet another social media user.

"Thank you sir. This anger and vitriol is the problem. So many people wishing or pursuing death against another simply because they disagree," wrote another social media user who was full of praise for West's wishes to Trump and his wife Melania. Another social media user commented and thanked West for his positive message and shared, "Thanks Ye and now Cam too and teammates on both sides. We all teammates regardless of which side in America, that's why we win. Thank you for your positive message @kanyewest."

We had earlier reported that Trump asked if he was going to die while being airlifted to the hospital after suffering from coronavirus, as per a shocking new claim. The 74-year-old president had tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, October 1, and had to be taken to the Walter Reed Medical Center on Friday, October 2. He was taken to the Walter Reed Medical Center after being picked up from the White House.

According to a special correspondent for Vanity Fair, Gabriel Sherman, Trump had feared for his life at the time. Sherman had taken to Twitter to share, "Conversations with Republicans close to White House over last 12 hours indicate it’s been far more dire than White House has said."
