#KanyeConJob: Will Kanye West be prosecuted for election fraud? Internet says he conned America along with Trump

Kanye West took some time out from his tropical vacation amid reportedly struggling to save his marriage with Kim Kardashian and went on a promotion spree for US President Donald Trump. Right from Republican operatives working to get Kanye on the 2020 ballot to his attempt to swing Black votes away from Biden, Internet saw it all and slammed West for the same and called it 'Kanye's Con', after which #KanyeConJob started trending on Twitter.
The Internet started slamming Kanye's presidential campaign when The Lincoln Project tweeted, "The #KanyeConJob is illegal and likely organized by the Trump campaign. This feeble attempt at rigging the election won’t work and shows that Trump knows a reckoning in November is imminent," attaching a report by attorney Mario Nicolais. Nicolas's reports claimed that Wisconsin voters have been misled, lied to, and cheated and Kanye likely will not be on their ballots in November. He also revealed about the complaints received regarding Kanye's nomination, "In a lengthy filing submitted Friday evening, four Wisconsin electors challenged more than half the 2,422 nomination signatures submitted by West on Tuesday. A second, shorter complaint made similar allegations. The complaints include a laundry list of claims that should discredit enough signatures to reduce West’s nomination papers below the 2,000-signature threshold and disqualify him from Wisconsin’s ballot."
Nicolas wrote: "Trump and his supporters have spent recent days attempting to place the music mogul on presidential ballots across the country. They believe that a Black celebrity on the ballot will pull votes from Joe Biden, who enjoys overwhelming support from Black Americans, and help a flailing Trump campaign in November."

Not only this, but he also reported that Kanye's operatives bungled the timing as well as, Trump's attorney and former Wisconsin GOP counsel, Lane Ruhland, turned the nomination signatures in shortly after 5 pm on Tuesday, August 4. The deadline set by statute was 4.30 pm. Claiming the attempt to be a 'criminal activity', he added, "The remaining claims raise serious issues of misrepresentation and deceit that may border on criminal activity. More than 1,500 signatures were gathered by circulators who lied to Wisconsin voters or included fake addresses. One circulator told a resident that the papers were “to support increasing minority representation” rather than nominate West for the presidency. Another was informed the papers were to help make “sure people were registered to vote.” A third, who does “not think Kanye West should run for President” and “would never support or vote for him,” was rushed to sign the papers and told they were “related to voting.”
Soon after, #KanyeConJob started trending on Twitter and people wanted Kanye to take responsibility for his act, one user said, "The #KanyeConJob is a horribly racist and cynical attempt by @realDonaldTrump because he knows he can't get the black vote without cheating. and another one said, "@ProjectLincoln I GENUINELY do not understand. What polling data, what focus groups, what information anywhere made Trump operatives believe that unstable, crazy talking Kanye West would draw a significant enough number of Black votes in states where it mattered?" Another user called it a flagrant violation "So, the #KanyeConJob is yet another flagrant violation of the law by @realDonaldTrump and the ham-fisted amateurs at the RNC and Trump 2020."

Some Internet users even wanted Kanye prosecuted, as one netizen said, "Kanye should be prosecuted for election fraud. #KanyeConJob," to which another user agreed saying, "Agree -- I am not a fan; however, he has now allowed his reputation to be forever attached to the "Trump" administration for this notorious act of fraud."

While some slammed him for his fake signatures, saying, "Fake signatures to get his name on ballots? Kanye West really shouldn’t go down this road—especially not for Donald Trump. It’s not a good look at all." Another user, who supposedly voted for Kanye "Illinois actual resident here. Already voted for Kanye and don't see how they can remove someone after we already voted. Is this Democrat voter suppression?"
