'Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years': Live stream, release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about prequel on Paramount+
If one of your favorite cartoons growing up was that of a sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea, then you're in for a good time with the franchise's new release. While millions fell in love with the animated character SpongeBob SquarePants, so many had questions about how it was before he was an adult - now, those people don't have to wonder anymore.
The upcoming movie 'Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years' is a SpongeBob SquarePants prequel that will reveal how the lives of SpongeBob and friends were before they were adults. It will see 10-year-old SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy and others building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the titular camp as per reports. The series was supposed to be a Nickelodeon production, but ViacomCBS later decides that it would help in the launch of the new streaming service Paramount+. Plot
Nickelodeon’s synopsis, reads, “'Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years' is the first-ever SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff. The CG-animated prequel series follows 10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals during summer sleepaway camp where they spend their time building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest, Kamp Koral.”

Tom Kenny as SpongeBob
Besides voicing the famous SpongeBob, Kenny is known for his roles as Walle Walrus in 'Woody Woodpecker' (2018-2020), ARF in 'Puppy Dog Pals' (2017-2020), and Chuch in 'Kid Cosmic' (2021). He has two releases in the works - 'The Adventures of Pinocchio' is listed as filming and Kenny will be playing the voice of Pinocchio and 'Magnum Farce' has been announced, and Kenny will be playing the voice of Ozzy.
Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick Star
Fagerbakke is known for his voice role as Patrick Star from the 'SpongeBob' franchise but has been part of quite a few other productions throughout the years. His other works include Big Bear in the TV series 'Young Justice' (2011-2019), Detective Pruitt in 'Unbelievable' (2019), Scarecrow in 'Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz' (2017-2020), Prince Cashmere in 'Wander Over Yonder' (2013-2016), Tom Avery in 'Black-ish' (2017) and many more.
The rest includes Rodger Bumpass as Squidward Tentacles, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy Cheeks, Mary Jo Catlett as Mrs. Puff, Jill Talley as Karen Plankton, Lori Alan as Pearl Krabs, Carlos Alazraqui as Nobby, Kate Higgins as Narlene and Mr. Lawrence as Sheldon Plankton
