On May 28, 2020, Vice President Kamala Harris had tweeted, "Today, I'm introducing the Monthly Economic Crisis Support Act to provide $2,000 every month throughout this crisis. I've been saying it for months: a one-time payment is not enough when millions of people are unemployed and need to eat. We need bold action, immediately." Now, Internet has dug this exact tweet and wants to know where their $2000 is.

This has gone viral on Twitter as many want the money to buy dogecoin and some believe that the excitement in itself would lead to a majority of the people staying home. And also added, "i feel like I must clarify - i take the pandemic seriously lol. i wear my mask, social distance, quarantine just because, alldat."

One user wrote, "Good God people. Pres Biden has a lot to do to fix the mess he inherited. Congress is still being stymied by the Repukes. Cut some slack for christsakes." To this another responded, "People are #homeless and hungry and waited hours to vote on the promise of getting this and it's not even being mentioned when it should have been the First task. Starving and cold people won't get to enjoy all the other fixes @POTUS is doing without #2KChecks. Safest protest."

One user even responded to President Joe Biden's tweet, "Wear a mask. Save lives," and said "This! But also can the people have their $2k stimulus checks that were promised? There are people starving and having trouble paying rent that would really appreciate some relief and an extra bonus to stay home. Thanks! #2KChecks."

While many have posted memes about what they would do with their $2000 when they get it, quite a few are asking where their $600 are. One Twitter user tweeted, "I still ain’t get my 600$ Yoo @JoeBiden where my bread #2KChecks." People have been responding to other tweets of Biden as well, including one about taking quick action. Biden had posted, "As Treasury Secretary @JanetYellen said during today’s meeting, the price of doing nothing when it comes to economic relief is too high. Congress must act quickly and pass the American Rescue Plan to deliver relief and help dig us out of this crisis." To this, a follower responded, "Damn skippy! We need monthly #2KChecks #SurvivalChecks." One said, "@JoeBiden @KamalaHarris @VP @POTUS... so where’s that check? $2000, right?" Currently, Harris is living at Blair House which happens to be the president’s official guest residence on Pennsylvania Avenue across from the White House. Harris will be moving to her official vice presidential home a few miles away on the grounds of the US Naval Observatory residence after some repair work is completed. She had moved into Blair House the day after the January 20 inauguration. At the inauguration day parade when Harris was asked what her first job as the Vice President would be, she said, “Walking to work.”
