Donald Trump's controversial call to Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger is drawing a lot of attention. After the contents of the tape were made public, many criticized the POTUS for his desperate attempts at overturning the presential election results in Georgia, including Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

Harris, who was in the Peach State ahead of the January 5 run-off elections, on behalf of Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, who are trying to defeat Republican incumbents David Perdue and Kelley Loeffler, used the platform to blast Trump following his tweet about the call to Raffensperger.

According to reports, the Trump Tapes see the president pressurizing the Georgia officials to "find 11,780" votes, which could overturn the election results. Throughout the call, POTUS has allegedly accused Raffensperger of not reporting the election fraud, while pleading him for the recount of the ballots.

Trump tweeted on January 3, "I spoke to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger yesterday about Fulton County and voter fraud in Georgia. He was unwilling, or unable, to answer questions such as the “ballots under table” scam, ballot destruction, out of state 'voters', dead voters, and more. He has no clue!"

What Kamala Harris had to say

Taking the stage at a drive-thru rally campaign in Georgia, responding to Trump's call to the Georgia secretary of state, Harris said, "Have y'all heard about that recorded conversation? Well it was, yes, certainly, the voice of desperation, most certainly that, and it was a bald, bald-faced, bold abuse of power by the President of the United States," reports CNN

"And then look at the most recent history, which is that after you elected, you turned Georgia blue, you elected Joe Biden President of the United States, you elected the first Black woman in the history of our country to be the Vice President of the United States, and they have the gall to suggest you didn't know what you were doing, you must have gone about it in a way that was illegitimate." she further added.

Joe's vice president-elect also slammed Trump for "suggesting that the people of Georgia are trying to commit a crime." Harris' remarks directed at Trump has gathered a lot of reaction on social media, as a significant number of people have expressed their opinion about Trump's determination to prove his victory in Georgia. While some slammed the POTUS for desperately trying to prove that the election was rigged, the rest have praised Harris for calling him out publicly.

One tweeted, "Kamala Harris blasts Donald Trump for ‘abuse of power’ in controversial Georgia call Kamala ROCKS!" While another added, "Kamala is not having any of Trumps bs. 'The voice of desperation': Vice President-elect Kamala Harris slams Trump after leaked phone call" One shared, "But also bc Trump & his henchmen are so utterly depraved and unscrupulous I want to fall asleep until Jan 21 and wake to see Biden/Harris have safely been inaugurated as POTUS & VP #PLEASEGAWD"

Adding to that one tweeted, "Brainwashed! Amazing how people let Trump suck the brains out right out of their heads! Too many Trumpers have told me they find Trump entertaining! Ugh! Can’t wait for Biden - Harris! The next 2.5 weeks will feel like two years! He is really twisting the knife!"
