Kamala Harris mocked as Benny Johnson expresses shock over her ‘cringeworthy’ affirmation that Joe Biden ‘is alive’

Kamala Harris refused to answer the question at hand, instead declaring that Joe Biden is 'very much alive' and is 'running for re-election'

TAMPA, FLORIDA: The host of ‘The Benny Johnson Show’ aka Benny Johnson himself has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a clip from a conversation between Bill Whitaker and Vice President Kamala Harris.

In the clip, Whitaker expressed the concerns of Democratic donors, and Harris’ response shocked Johnson and several other people on the internet as well.

Harris spoke about how President Joe Biden is “very much alive” and “running for re-election.” Not only did Johnson express his shock over the statement, but he also took a dig at President Biden.

Benny Johnson says ‘WHAT!?’

On X, Benny Johnson shared part of a conversation between Kamala Harris and Bill Whitaker, where Johnson tweaked part of the conversation as he took a dig at Joe Biden,

Johnson wrote, transcribing the essence of the conversation in the clip, “REPORTER: “Democrat donors tell us that they don’t like the Joe Biden falls over all the time, can’t speak English and has dementia. Can you reassure them?”

He continued with the response, “Kamala Harris: “I can assure you that Joe Biden is very much ALIVE…[Cackles]”

Johnson then shared his own reaction to Harris’ statement, “WHAT!? 😬”

In an interview, Vice President Harris was asked by Whitaker, “We were talking to some Democratic donors and they have told us that should something befall President Biden, and he is not able to run, that there would be a free-for-all, for who would run as President.”

He continued, “You are in the spot, that it would be natural for you to step up, but we’re hearing from donors, that they would not naturally fall into line, why is that?”

Harris responded, “Well, first of all, I’m not going to engage in that hypothetical, because Joe Biden is very much alive and running for re-election.”

The reporter pre-emptively interrupted Harris, “But you do know that is a concern and a legitimate concern, I would say.”

“I hear from a lot of different people, a lot of different things, but let me just tell you, I’m focussed on the job, I truly am,” said Harris, and continued, “Our democracy is on the line, Bill. I frankly in my head, do not have time for parlor games, when we have a President who is running for re-election…that’s it.”

Internet reacts to Kamala Harris’ statement on POTUS

As Benny Johnson shared a clip of Kamala Harris stating Joe Biden is “very much alive” the internet was quick to respond. One person wrote, “It is such a strange thing to say as a response,” and another said, “This is the start of something. Why would you say he’s alive? That’s worrisome.”

A third person wrote, “How cringe!” Another said, “That certainly wasn’t reassuring but it was cringeworthy.”

Harris continued to be ridiculed in response as one person wrote, “Well, thanks for stating he's alive Kamala.  We're glad you got that question that never came up out of the way?” A sixth person said, “She CRAY CRAY 😜”
