Looks like Justin Bieber forgot to take his mother's opinions into account before announcing his engagement with Hailey Baldwin to the world. While we're all for congratulating the young couple on the happy times that lay ahead for them, Bieber's mom doesn't seem to be a hundred percent on board with the arrangement.

Fans are speculating that Pattie Mallette has made some minute alterations on her Twitter profile, which might point out to the fact that she is not too happy about her son's speedy engagement with Baldwin, as reported by the Daily Mail. Before news of Bieber and Baldwin's engagement broke out, Mallette's Twitter profile bio read, "Yes, Justin Bieber is my son. I have many other great qualities besides being his mom haha! No really. #LoveWins #LOVEARMY."

However, the proud mom seems to be having a bit of trouble adjusting to some of the recent changes that have been going on in her son's life, including the out-of-the-blue marriage proposal from his end. Mallette's profile bio now reads, “#LoveWins #LOVEARMY,” which clearly excludes her son's name from her profile.

It might be that  Mallette was just looking for a short and snappy bio for her profile, but when fans started to dig in more into her profile, including all her recent online activities, it looked like Bieber's mom is not so celebratory about her son's engagement as much as she'd like to be.

After quite an enormous amount of digging, fans found that Mallette had liked a tweet from former 'Bachelor' star Sean Lowe, which stirred up a lot of speculation in itself, with a lot of people thinking of it as a shade from Bieber's mom to her son.

In the tweet, Lowe had spoken about all the people who commit to each other without properly thinking their promises through. “Before proposing to a woman they’ve only known for a few weeks, I think the final guys on 'The Bachelorette' should come help me scrub my kid’s diarrhea out of my living room rug just to make sure they’re serious about the whole 'I want a family with you' thing," he wrote.

Therefore, the 'Sorry' crooner's mother liking the same, added to the disappearance of his name from Mallette's profile bio gives a small indication that maybe, just maybe, she is not jumping for joy at her son's actions this time around.

And maybe, just maybe, his mother's unhappiness might have been the reason why recently, the singer was captured on camera attending to an extremely stressed phone call on the streets of New York City. Bieber was caught sitting on the curb of a street in NYC as he stepped out of his chauffeured car in order to take a personal phone call. In the pictures, a very worried and stressed Bieber can be seen talking on the phone with his hands on his face.

After what appeared to be quite a long and stressful phone call, Bieber posted a now-deleted video on Instagram which showed his fiance Hailey Baldwin and how she looked back when she was a mere teenager of 16 years. The 'Purpose' singer captioned the post, "Meet my fiancé at 16."

However, it looks like the post did not go down so well with Baldwin, who apparently asked her soon-to-be-husband to immediately take down the video clip from his social media profile, that boasts of 100 million followers currently. Before deleting the Instagram post, Bieber changed the caption of the clip.

The 'What Do You Mean' crooner popped the question to his longtime rumored girlfriend Baldwin on July 7, and later posted an emotional message on Instagram declaring their engagement to the world. Calling the timing 'perfect', Justin wrote, "Gods timing really is literally perfect, we got engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month, the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection."

The singer added that he is ready to start the next chapter in his life and couldn't have chosen a better partner than Hailey. "Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity for letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make. My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else," he wrote.

He added that she pushes him to be a better person. "You make me so much better and we compliment each other so well!! Can’t wait for the best season of life yet!. It’s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense," he wrote.

But before popping the question, Bieber needed a ring to make it official, and his manager Scooter Braun knew just the jeweler to call. The celebrity manager found Jack Solow of Solow & Co. Inc. Diamond Jewelers to make the special ring for his famous new client.

"I was very genuinely excited for him and I had heard that he was with somebody very, very special and that they had bonded over personal things and I was just very, very happy like I would be for any young man who's on that next stop of his life, but for Justin, of course, it's that much more special and that much more visible for everybody," Solow explained.

Through the course of his interview, Solow recalled how the singer had some ideas for how he wanted the engagement ring to look. "Justin had a big hand in it," the jeweler said. "He had certain design elements that he wanted and he had certain expectations and I think we delivered."
