LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Julia Wandelt, the woman who thinks she could be Madeleine McCann, has reportedly gained access to her medical records and learned that she suffered a "mysterious skull fracture" as a child. The injury apparently erased the 21-year-old's childhood memories of alleged abuse and sex trafficking, per her caretaker Dr Fia Johansson.

A report from Wandelt's 500-page set of medical records reportedly revealed that the fracture left the then-eight-year-old unable to walk or talk for about a year. Johansson said she is trying to figure out how Wandelt sustained the injury, who took her to the hospital, and the medical procedures she subsequently underwent.

Julia Wandelt shares ONE 'childhood memory' that could prove she is Madeleine McCann

'She does not remember any of it!'

"It shows that some of them or all of them or one of them wanted to get rid of her, or complicate her life where she would not be able to walk or talk or say anything. It seems like they purposely tried to do it," Johansson -- a self-professed private investigator and psychic medium -- told Radar Online. "She does not remember any of it!" she added.

Wandelt shot to prominence after claiming online that she could be the missing Brit Madeleine, who went missing on a family holiday in Portugal in 2007. The Polish national has since garnered millions of followers on social media and even appeared on the popular TV show 'Dr Phil', where she furnished "evidence" to prove her claims. The 21-year-old recently revealed how she suffered "the biggest breakdown" of her life after fleeing Poland and moving to the US due to constant death threats.

"I had the biggest breakdown of my life," she told Radar Online. "After watching the entire movie I went to my bedroom and started to cry wondering why my family didn’t help me, why they destroyed my life." She continued, “I was never angry (at) them; I always loved them because I was always with them. I think for the first time I started to ask myself, why (my) family (who) raised me, why they tried to destroy (me)…. I always tried to understand it, OK, it’s your family, ok, they want to help you, they want to do everything to help you, but it’s not the truth," adding, "They don’t want to help me.”

Estranged from family

During her appearance on 'Dr Phil' last month, Julia declared she will not return to her family back in Poland even if DNA tests prove she is their biological child. "I think that mothers should not do these things to their children," she said. Wandelt added, "If she is my mother, I don’t want to have contact with her, that’s all. But I believe she isn’t my mother." Johansson, who also appeared in the episode, alleged the Polish national was forced to take "35 pills from the age of 7" and that Wandelt's mother had "refused to do a DNA test and she refused to answer any calls, texts or other communication."

The eyebrow-raising claims made by Wandelt and Johansson, however, are a far cry from those made by the former's family back in Poland. "Numerous therapies, medicines, psychologists, and psychiatrists - Julia had it all guaranteed. She wasn't left alone," they said in a statement. "[There are] threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, and activity on the internet. We've seen it all and we've tried to prevent it, to explain, we've asked her to stop. Julia once wanted to be a singer [or] a model. She always wanted to be popular. What's happening now [is] she got one million followers," they added. Regardless, Wandelt is determined to do whatever is necessary to prove her claims.
