Co-creator Ryan Murphy, who has directed Julia Roberts in 'Eat Pray Love' and ' The Normal Heart' also hasn't helped matters.

If you are all caught up with FX's 'American Horror Story: Apocalypse,' you know that Emma Roberts is a crucial part of the plan to save the world. Starring as Madison Montgomery, Roberts plays an uber powerful witch who can control fire and is capable of murder. In the past, she was even super close to becoming the next Supreme, a position given to the most powerful witch. She's pretty scary when she needs to be, quite like the rest of the show itself. It looks like not only has Emma and the show successfully scared the living daylights out of us but Emma's aunt, Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts, as well. In a recent interview with EW, Julia said that she doesn't think she can watch the show, like ever.

"You know everybody divides the world into two groups? My two groups are people that like to be scared and people who don’t like to be scared. The first season of 'American Horror Story' came out and the way that I took my kids to school then, there was a traffic light that I always hit red and there was a poster for 'American Horror Story' right at that traffic light. I called Ryan and I said, ‘I’m just going to tell you right now — I don’t think I can watch your show. I can’t support you. I don’t think I can do it.’ He goes, ‘Lady, you won’t get through the commercial.’ Okay, that’s a good friend. Someone who really knows me and so, of course, I would never watch that," Roberts said.

Roberts has worked with AHS' co-creator Ryan Murphy in 'Eat Pray Love' and 'The Normal Heart'.

The first season of 'American Horror Story' was called 'Murder House' and one may argue that it was the scariest season in the franchise ever. Involving a devil baby and a house that traps the souls of all the inhabitants that it kills for eternity, the plot of the season was stuff made up of nightmares. Most of the cast from 'Murder House' is back for the current season, 'Apocalypse'. The poster that she's talking about is perhaps one of the first for the season that featured all the characters chilling in the hall of the evil house as Moira O'Hara (Frances Conroy), the maid who loved to seduce men before killing them off is mopping blood off the carpet.

There's also a burning figure in the background. She could also be talking about the promotional poster that featured a helpless Connie Britton on the red floor, trying to shield herself from the advances of a man in a latex suit.

Emma too doesn't seem to help her aunt's fear. "And then Emma’s on it and I say, ‘Emma, sweetheart, I don’t think I can watch this show that you’re in.’ And she goes, ‘Auntie, I was in this toy box at the end of this bed and they pulled my arm off.’ I go, ‘Okay. You just have to stop talking. I can’t handle it'," she said. "So that is off the table for me. I don’t watch things like that," she concluded. In retrospect, how much more perfect do you think 'American Horror Story' would be with Julia Roberts? She's currently starring in Amazon Prime's 'Homecoming' and we hear it's pretty chilling.
