Juice WRLD's third studio album 'Legends Never Die' has finally dropped. It is the first posthumous project following the rapper's untimely death from an accidental drug overdose on December 8, 2019. The album was released on July 10 and it is a true testament to the musical genius that was Juice WRLD, and that makes it both a treat to listen to as well as an absolutely gut-wrenching reminder of what we lost when the rapper died.

Right from the intro 'Anxiety', this is an album that promises greatness. In addition to tracks like the previously released 'Life Is a Mess' featuring Halsey, who recently showed off a new tattoo she got in honor of Juice, the album's release also coincides with a collaboration with FaZe Clan, which includes graphic tees and hoodies and expands on Juice's love for video games.

Speaking about the team-up, FaZe Adapt shared in a statement, "Juice had a huge impact on my life personally, and the fact that we get the chance to work with this team on this drop for his posthumous album is really, really special. We hung out and went paintballing once last summer. After that, we talked a couple of times over the phone, thru text, and we made plans about hanging out again: playing Call of Duty, going paintballing again. I was really looking forward to it."

Juice, one of the most exciting new stars to hit the rap scene in recent times, died at only 21 years of age last year following a seizure resulting from oxycodone and codeine toxicity. The incident, which occurred while he was on a flight home from Los Angeles, left the music industry and fans devastated. Since his passing, his team has continued to put out music in his honor, all taken from unreleased work that the rapper had recorded previously.

In a post shared on Juice's social media accounts, his estate stated, "We feel that this collection of 15 songs best represents the music Juice was in the process of creating. The album shines a light on the collaborators that meant so much to Juice and deeply impacted his musical process. Juice dedicated his music to his fans and, now more than ever, we hope this album brings some reprieve to everyone during these unsettling times. Please join us in celebrating Juice's life by enjoying this album. Juice's legacy will live forever; Legends Never Die."

Fans are already declaring the album is going to hit number one. One fan stated, "Man didn’t miss." Another stated, "Listening to the album... bro it’s fire." Fans also couldn't help but share how much they missed Juice, with one tweeting, "I’m in tears," another stating, "Juice was so talented man fr, gone too soon." One fan said, "I f***ing miss you dude." Another fan thanked Juice's team for releasing the album — a choice that earned them some criticism from fans who thought they were "milking" Juice's legacy — by stating, "@LilBibby_ thank you so much for putting this album out. It definitely hits different listening to it."

Juice's lyrics also saw significant praise, with several being tweeted out following the album's drop. One fan shared, "I got pain in my heart I told you 100 times," while another tweet read, "'I’m on Instagram live from Heaven. I made it y’all' / The outro on #LegendsNeverDie is heartbreaking #LLJW." Another fan summed it up perfectly by quoting one of the album's song titles in a tweet that read, "He truly was the man of the year."
