Joselyn Cano's fans are unable to digest reports of the popular Instagram model's demise. The fashion designer, who was often dubbed "The Mexican Kim Kardashian," passed away on December 7, according to Deaddeath, but the news reportedly only broke a couple of days later. The 29-year-old sensation's sudden demise caused a lot of "heartbreak and agony to the beloved" ones, according to the site. However, no cause of death is confirmed at the time of writing. Cano's family is yet to release an official statement addressing the tragic news, but several users on Twitter have claimed that she died in Peru during a butt lift surgical procedure.

"Joselyn Cano passed away from getting a bbl in Columbia this is why I get so scared," one tweet read, while another reacted in shock: "What the f**k? Joselyn Cano died from getting a bbl in Peru? That s**t is crazy."

Fellow model and social media personality Lira Galore also reacted to the grim news, echoing claims on social media about the cause of death. "Omg Joselyn Cano died in Colombia getting surgery that's wild," Galore tweeted on Tuesday, December 15, before showering praise on the late model, "She looked so good already wow prayers for her family she was so sweet."

Someone weighed in on the pressure of social media appearances in today's world: "Social media is really f**king with societies perception of beauty. FaceTime, bodywork..learn to love the body you’re in. RIP to Joselyn Cano." While another added, "Can’t believe Joselyn Cano died mid-surgery in Colombia. She didn’t need a second round."

That said, some of the model's fans were not sure about the veracity of the news, considering she was reportedly active on her OnlyFans account on December 15.

“There seem to be conflicting reports since late last night, hopefully, it’s not true,” Cosmetic Lane wrote on Twitter. “Her Onlyfans account was active earlier today. I haven’t really seen much confirmation anywhere else.” While another fan bemoaned, “The news about #joselyncano is sad.”

Joselyn had admitted to undergoing cosmetic surgeries to enhance various parts of her body but insisted she worked out day and night to achieve the perfect volume and tone. "Some of today's workouts! I love the last one! You can definitely feel the glutes being exercised," she once shared on Instagram about her fitness regime. "I squeeze my glutes as I go to help stimulate more muscle growth. Cano resided in Newport Beach, California, and studied Microbiology at San Diego State University, according to her LinkedIn bio. However, there isn't any further information about her background, other than she mainly rose to social media prominence by creating original content. Cano was widely popular on social media, boasting over 12.8 million followers on Instagram. She had last updated her page with a photo of herself in a barely-there bikini on December 6.
