Jordan Cox: Heartbroken family confirms remains of missing Michigan woman, 27, found
WYANDOTTE, MICHIGAN: The remains of Jordan Cox, a 27-year-old woman who went missing on March 26, has been found. Jordan's aunt Kim Cox confirmed that the remains found by Wyandotte police belonged to her niece in a Facebook post, writing, “It's with a heavy heart and great sadness that I must pass on that my niece Jordan has passed away my beautiful niece is now resting with the angels.”
According to The Sun, the location of the remains where it was found and the cause of death have not been confirmed. The aunt said, "She's deeply missed by her family and friends and we're very saddened by this tragic loss."

Who was Jordan Cox?
Born on September 12, 1995, Jordan, who was also called Jo, was reported missing on March 31, 2023, after her family and friends were unable to contact her for days. According to reports, she went missing on March 26, 2023. The Wyandotte Police Department confirmed she left her house to help her father move boxes into his apartment but never made it to the destination. As per the News Herald, she was last seen on March 26 between 3 pm and 5 pm, wearing black and white leggings and a black hoodie, with black and white tennis shoes.
Jordan had quite an active social life
Jordan, who had long brown hair and green eyes, was about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed between 130 and 150 pounds. She also had a butterfly tattoo on her arm, a rose and an anchor on her thigh, and a Native Indian girl on her shoulder. She had quite an active social life, and that is why her family got worried after she stopped responding to their text messages. Jordan's aunt said, "When we text her she responds. We've texted her and she's not responded for eight days." "We've never been through anything like this. We've never thought we'd experience anything like this. It's awful as you can imagine," she added, reports CBS News.
Jordan's death was first confirmed in an update on her GoFundMe page that read, "This is the absolute worse scenario imaginable in the nightmare that this week has been for them all." Following the news of her death, friends and family started posting tributes on social media. One of them wrote, "You were such a sweet baby Jordan Cox. I’m so sorry this happened to you." One more wrote, "Jordan, my heart hurts so bad never in my life would I think I would have to face this day, not you not Jo I love you more then you will ever know and I’m so sorry jordan I’m so sorry this happened to you, I wanna thank you for every laugh,every tear and every memory you have given,we will forever keep you’re name alive and forever will miss you till the day we meet again. I love you Jordan Cox fly high my angel."
