‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Season 17: Fans ask judge Jojo Siwa to 'tone it down'

Fans slammed judge Jojo Siwa for being too 'loud' during performances and also mentioned that they all are missing the old format and old panel of judges

It is an exciting time indeed as fans' favorite dance reality show 'So You Think You Can Dance' is back with a bang on Fox with its season 17.
 
Another intriguing factor is that this time, there's an all-new panel of judges on the show. The panel includes big names from the industry like Stephen "Twitch" Boss, Matthew Morrison, and Jojo Siwa. The only familiar face is host Cat Deeley who is going to be the presenter and host of 'So You Think You Can Dance' Season 17. All contestants are going to give it their all and battle it out with each other by competing in many diverse dance styles in order to break through in the show and the teasers already show how fiery the season is going to be.

After the first episode of '‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Season 17 aired recently on Fox, fans have openly expressed their dislike and displeasure of the new judging panel which includes Stephen "Twitch" Boss, Matthew Morrison, and Jojo Siwa. After fans saw the first episode of the season, they immediately took to Twitter and slammed Jojo Siwa for being too "loud" while judging the show and also mentioned that they all are missing the old format and old panel of judges.

Some fans brutally criticized viral dance sensation and judge Jojo Siwa, with one fan tweeting, “Hate hate hate these #SYTYCD auditions. Used to love the auditions in front of other dancers, in front of their peers. This "live" audience for auditions is so not good. And #jojosiwa- take it down 5 levels. It's not about you and how loud you can be. Love Twitch."

Another fan wrote, “@FOXTV #SYTYCD @DANCEonFOX @itsjojosiwa please stop yelling Hey heyheyhey during the performances. It’s distracting and I find it inappropriate and rude. Maybe quite it down and find another exclamation to say."

One fan added, “20 mins into #SYTYCD and won't be able to stomach the season if @itsjojosiwa doesn't stop YELLING! #toneitdown #Fox." Another user tweeted, “Five minutes in, & am not a fan. I hate it for the dancers because they aren’t getting to experience the true #SYTYCD. Bring back Nigel or any of the qualified choreographers to judge. I’m sorry but JoJo is neither…wasn’t a fan when she was on Dance Moms. Hard to watch."

Another user wrote, “OMG - @official_tWitch is awesome, as always. But @itsjojosiwa? That voice makes my skin crawl! And I don't even know who @matt_Morrison is! How can you have this show without the man who created it? You have ruined #SYTYCD! I am so saddened because I missed it so much!”. A fan also wrote, “#sytycd i dont know what it is but JoJo Siwa gets on my nerves! Bring the other judges back please!!"
